I love my Pink Cook for the Cure Breastcancer Awareness KitchenAid mixer. I also love that the company participates in philanthropally. I have had this mixer for 4 years and I use it at least once a week. I know it is expensive, but I know that this is something that is going to last a long time. I am hoping to hand it down to my daughter one day. I have the pasta making attatchments and while we like the idea of making our own pasta, I'm pretty sure the pre made kind is almost as good. It takes too long, and I think that in the long run will wear out my motor. For every day uses like making bread or cookies, it's a dream. Also, I love how we can make fresh whipped cream in a snap. I have to confess that I pull out my tiny old hand mixer for smaller jobs, say mashed potatoes, but for pretty much everything else, I rely on my Pink Mixer. I also get quite a few questions and compliments on the mixer, which i think is pretty enough to leave out on the counter.

My wife absolutely loves this mixer. We got it as a wedding gift, and I think it is prosibly her favorite gift out of all we received. I have used it a couple of times, and certainly understand why she loves it so much. The big deep bowl is great for mixing large amounts. And the kneading hook attachment is wonderful for making bread or for making pie crust. There are also a number of other attachments that can be purchased separately to go on this machine, such as the pasta maker, sausage grinder, food slicer, etc. We have purchased the can opener attachment which fits right on the front of the mixer and works great. My wife has also found a few other items that can be purchased such as a lid that fits the bowl for refrigeration and a mixer cover. I will say, that the machine is rather heavy, but if you have the counter space to just leave it sitting out, then I highly recommend that you get yourself one. You won't regret it.

Oh how I love this thing!!! It's so beautiful!! Goes beyond it's beauty though, it works beautifully & I still get excited when I have to use it! I bought mine second hand but feel it is worth every penny. I have purchased two sets of attachments to go with it so far - the food & meat grinder attachment - we had purchased a very large piece of meat (ribeye) and since it was late at the grocery store their meat dept wasn't able to cut it for us so my husband came home & cut it. The left over scrap pieces he ended up grinding up & making THE BEST burgers out of!!! Beautiful flavor, oh so yummy! The second attachment that we bought was a Grain Mill...we're trying to eat less processed foods & plan to use this attachment to mill our own flour to make our own bread products fresh & without as many preservatives.

I actually have a list of attachments I would like to have - the ravioli maker, the juicer, the applesauce maker, the spaghetti maker - both of them & I'm sure there...

KitchenAid Mixers are handy for much more than just mixing homemade icing or whipping up a batter. I bought the pink one, first because I love pink and second, because KitchenAid made a $50 donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Mine came with 3 attachments. A wire whisk, a dough hook and a flat mixer. The great thing about this appliance is that KitchenAid makes several different attachments for these mixers. There are ice cream makers, ravioli makers, meat grinders, and many more. The first thing I made with mine was homemade icing for cake. It was so easy! So I really decided to depend on it more with other recipes as well. I tried the dough hook out on my homemade pizza dough. Amazing. No kneading necessary, it's ready so quickly and you can pump out several batches in a fraction of the time it would take the regular way. I also use it for meatballs, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and anything else I need to mix. I highlly recommend this product!

I bought this in black for my new house. I just bought my first house and have been collecting things to make a house a home and I have always wanted a kitchen aid stand mixer. My kitchen is stainless steel and black so this black unit fit perfectly in. It has 10 variable speed controls that are easily cycled through with the knob on the side of the unit. It came with the bowl pouring shield that has come in so handy for when I make batters during the holidays. It also comes with a whisk, a beater and a dough hook. No matter what I have made so far, I haven't needed any other kind of beater with these three on hand. I also love how there are so many different kind of attachments that you can add onto the top making this a highly multi functional piece of equipment. The unit itself is very easy to clean and wipe down when I am finished. It has a decently long cord so it does not have to be right next to the outlet when it is used either. Okay, to borrow from the great Michael Jackson, this is IT! The KitchenAid Artixan Mixer is the Utopia any true lover of cooking is searching for. Sturdy and solidly built, this thing will last longer than Betty White, and it's much easier to look at (sorry Betty...) Mixes anything like a charm, with enough variable settings to get any desired speed, and clean up is a breeze. Don't hide this thing away in the cupboard, though - put it on display so you can just sit and gaze at it's astounding beauty. It really is a thing of art. Besides, it'll make you LOOK like a premiere cook, even if you never lift a finger in the kitchen besides tearing open a box of Betty Crocker.

True, owning one can set you back a few pennies, but if you've ever pulled out that tiny hand-held mixer every time a mixing job is required and felt empty and incomplete, you KNOW what's missing in your life - an objet d'art such as the Artisan Mixer. True, it may be overkill and that handheld probably does...

Does anyone out there not know this is the best mixer in the world? I think you must be living in a cave if you have never seen this beautiful mixer. It has been the quintessential mixer for at least 40 years. I remember seeing this mixer at my grandmother's house. She had it for as long as I can remember. I wanted one so much when I was first married, but I did not get one as a wedding present and as newlyweds it was out of my price range. Last year I finally bought this mixer for my birthday! I absolutely love it. It has held up to all my expectations which is saying a lot since it is on a small appliance pedestal in mind. The only cons about this mixer are how heavy it is and the price. It weighs so much that I have no choice, but to leave it out on the counter. I don't mind this because it is so pretty. The price is certainly very high, but I think it is worth the price because everyone I know who owns this mixer says it lasts a lifetime.

I recived a kitchen aid artisan mixer for my 24th birthday. I love it it makes my job so easy. My husband loves fresh bread and with the mixer all the hand work is taken care of. now I can do the dishes while the dough kneeds. My mixer never leaves the counter it's on display and I recommend it to everyone that comes over.

I lovemy KitchenAid Mixer! It is one of my most favorite wedding gifts and I use mine at least twice a week. I am a Martha Stewart aficionados and having the KitchenAid Mixer makes it "easy" to follow her recipes. Bread making is a snap because the mixer does all the work. My husband also loves our KitchenAid Mixer because we almost always have some sort of fresh-baked goody in the house. It is a phenomenal mixer and I haven't had any problems or complaints in five years.

The KitchenAid mixer may seem expensive, but it is well worth the price tag. I grew up using a hand mixer and cannot imagine going back. Stand mixers, and particularly, KitchenAid mixers are the way to go. The KitchenAid Mixer makes baking even more enjoyable and I cannot recommend it enough!

While the Kitchen Aid mixers are pricey, they are worth the cash. Especially if you can find it on sale as I did for a great deal. The mixer does present a difficult decision: what color should you choose? There are so many to choose from! I have the Empire Red, and its brilliant red brightens up my kitchen counter.

But the mixer is not just attractive, it accomplishes all kinds of tasks in the kitchen. There are several attachments sold separately that can connect to the mixer. I have the ice cream maker, cheese grater, and juicer. The cheese grater is the one I use the most. I never buy bags of shredded cheese any more because my mixer can grate an eight ouce block of cheese in a matter of seconds. The mixer bowl and all attachments are dishwasher safe, so clean-up is a breeze. I own an old Sunbeam mixer - passed down from my grandma's kitchen that I adore mainly for sentimental reasons-but nothing compares to my new KitchenAid Artisan mixer!! I love the power, all of the attachments and the color - red! It is not only attractive - but gets my cooking juices flowing with a little help from chefs on TV that use this mixer. I have made cake mixes, bread doughs, brownies, doughnuts - just about everything and this mixer delivers. Much more convenient and modern than the old Sunbeam I was using. I recommend this to anyone that enjoys hands free mixing - while working on your recipe - a must have for all kitchens!

My KitchenAid is awsome. We got it for a Christmas present last year and it makes everything. I mostly use it to makes cakes,muffins,sweet breads,cookies.Just started to use it to make bread and we use the grinder to make our own hamburger and "chickenburgers" too.And we also use to make cucumber relish to can.It is great to have we would be lost without it. Next we will be making our own sausage.

Seriously I don't know what I would do without my KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer! Not only does it look great, it is easy to use, clean and helps me use my creative skills. I took the Wilton cake making classes and I use this mixer to make cakes and icing - it does all the work for me. I would buy another in a heartbeat and am considering buying my daughter one as a gift.

The KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer is my favorite kitchen appliance, and I have a lot of appliances! It makes baking a cinch. It enables me to make nice homemade goods at times when I might make a boxed baked good or at a time I might not make anything at all. For instance, lets say you're making chili and would like some cornbread. A box if Jiffy mix is fine, but making real cornbread from scratch is special and time consuming. The mixer makes cornbread easy and quick - as quick as a boxed mix plus a little more cleanup time, which is definitely worth it! Another example: cake from scratch. Beating with a hand mixer is tiring and seems to take forever, but the mixer is easy enough to encourage you to make a more complicated cake - maybe one that starts from a mernague. I can't think of a single con except the price, but they last forever and mine gets used so much that I think the benefits outweigh the costs by quite a bit! Mine is also an absolutely beautiful Aqua color...
