My mom bought me my Kitchen Aid. Life has never been so good. I now can make breads and cookies without the sore arm from hand mixing and without the hot smell coming from a hand mixer.

After years of watching my husband buy tool, after tool, he just had to have. I finally got the tool I wanted and needed for my kitchen. The KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series! The number one tool in my kitchen.

With a family of six, I needed to be doubling and tripling my batches of cookies. And spending less time standing over a mixer for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth or blended well. I now add ingredients and walk away to get other things done. Like set table, check on children, or other food cooking, ect...

This stand mixer comes with several attachments,is durable, has different speed settings, that all work wonders. Things are so much easier now. And I seem to get out of the kitchen a lot quicker to enjoy my family.

I'd have never dreamed that I would fall in love with a kitchen appliance, but this Kitchenaid Pro5 has hooked me. Is there anything this machine can't do? As if standard mixer projects done expertly and without stress weren't enough - they make attachments that will do anything and everything you need to do in a kitchen this side of a stove! The wire wisk makes the best whipped cream, cake frosting, or meringue ever!!

Even if you are not all that into baking, it does so much more than mixing up cakes and doughs. I particularly like the meat grinder attachment for healthy ground meat trimmed of all visible fat. This machine has the power to easily grind any cheap cut we drop into it. I can't wait to try the pasta maker attachment. Now I know how all those TV cooks got started. Really good kitchen equipment makes you want to be in the kitchen a whole lot more.

I would recommend this machine to anyone in the market for a havy duty kitchen mixer that will power a variety of attachments....

I have always wanted one of these and was fortunate enough to get one as a Christmas gift. The person who bought it told me they almost went with a cheaper model, but in the end decided to "go with the pro." I am so glad they did. Let's be honest, a stand mixer that's this powerful is most likely overkill for a "hobby baker" like myself, but then again you never know when your mixer is going to need that extra "oomph" when mixing cookie or pizza dough or other bread recipes. I have owned a bread machine for about ten years and was really fascinated by it during the first couple of years, but I was never really satisfied with the shape of the loaves or the quality of the bread. Last year, I started making bread by hand and could not believe how much better the bread turned out. Now I know some people will disagree with this approach, but I am absolutely looking forward to kneading batches of bread dough in my Kitchenaid mixer. It will be a definite time and wrist saver.

I absolutely LOVE my kitchen aid mixer. I especially love how you can raise and drop the bowl instead of having to tip the head back. The lift makes the mixer a lot taller but I would rather have it be taller than have to have a wide enough counter to tip back the head enough. I begged for my mixer since 2007 xmas and finally got it for my b-day last year. I love it so much. Especially since there's an option to add attachment which makes it more practical than having to buy a different piece of equipment for each task. Ther heavy duty mixer is great for mixing cookie dough very fast and efficiently, and is great for making pizza and bread doughs. The simple way the bowl locks into place makes sure it will not come out of place while your doing heavy mixing. This is a homemaker, chef or pastry chefs dream mixer for having at home and Kitchen Aid is such a reliable name that I know my mixer will last me so long which makes it well worth the cost....

I love my KitchenAid Professional 600 mixer! I waited a long time to get it after graduating French Pastry School but I saved and the wait was well worth it. I did look at other mixers but I kept going back to my KitchenAid and I am so glad I did. It is now part of my family and is kept very busy especially with the up coming Holidays....

I got my Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas; I had been coveting one for years. I love it! I bake just so I can use it sometimes. I've used all three mxing attachments, they all work beautifully. The only negative is that sometimes ingredients get built up below the paddle, so I have to stop and scrape the bottom of the bowl so that everything is incorporated.

I have one attachment for it so far - the slicer/grater. It is awesome, slices and chops like a dream

KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series Mixer

I would have to say it is a great product, I am a baker and this is my first stand mixer. It mixes everything from egg-whites, to stiff dough. It comes with a dough hook, a whisk, and a paddle, you can purchase other attachments separately. You only have a 5 quart bowl unlike other stand mixers that have a 6 quart bowl. The mixer cleans up well east to assemble, the bowl can be raised up and down. the top mixer part of the mixer is fixed so you have to lower the bowl instead. This mixer has made my baking experience more fun, and a lot faster.

My husband bought this - I didn't. I rolled my eyes. I mean, come on - it looks like a drill press and needs its own cupboard for storage! Then I started using it. :)
Big mixer, worthwhile investment. It actually makes and kneads really, really good bread. Not "bread machine" bread, good bread. Put in the ingredients, let it go, let it rise and bake. 2 Yummy loaves! It also whips egg whites in no time flat, makes tasty butter, makes HUGE amounts of whatever recipe you are using in half the time of a smaller mixer and never fails. I would decidedly buy one again....

I bought this between 5 and 6 yrs. ago and haved loved it ever since. My two favorite uses are making bread dough and triple batches of Christmas cookies. It cuts down on my time in the kitchen and my family really appriciates the fresh baked bread that I now make. I think that this is a very high quality machine, I've used it hundreds of times and it's still works as well as the day I took it out of the box. Worth EVERY PENNY!!!...

My husband gave me this as a Christmas gift and it is the best gift he has ever given me. I absolutely love it. It has so much power, it can handle anything. Not only does it work great, but it looks great on my counter-top too! It comes with 3 attachments, and the bowl lifts up and down rather than the top tilting up and down. Over all this is a great product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone....

After returning the mixer twice, I finally got a model that works from the warrenty service. I wish I had purchased a different brand as this barely meets my needs and I find myself baking less and less because of the hassle of waiting for the machine to cool down.
