jazzysax13 says "So easy to crush ice for smoothies or other icy drinks! Awesome!" about KitchenAid KSB560 5 Speed Blender

I've had this blender for only a few of week but have found ways to use it many times. My favorite thing to do it make fresh fruit & yogurt smoothies. My old blender was terrible at crushing ice (hence the upgrade), and I am very pleased with my purchase. Though a little bit loud (it is crushing ice after all), I really enjoy my blender. Also, it's really good about getting a nice, smooth blend of foods. Some blenders have the "layering effect," but not this one.

I live in an apartment so I don't have very much counter space or cupboard space. I do not find having this blender creates any kind of space strains. It is small enough to stay on your counter or be put into a cupboard. This blender is also very easy to clean and keep! Great purchase. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looked for a quality product at not a ridiculous price. It is so easy to put together, take apart, and clean.
...

The Kitchen AidKSB560 5 speed blender is an awsome smoothie and frozen drink maker with an incredible ice crusher that really crushes ice and the motor does'nt burn out. I'd recommend this appliance for every household. This blender is a gem that I am considering giving as Christmas gifts to family and close friends.I t is easy to assemble as well as easy to clean. It does'nt take up too much space and the color went perfectly with the color scheme in my kitchen. The price was a little higher than I would normally spend on a blender, but you get what you pay for and I would rather spend a little more and get a quality piece of craftmanship now , than to spend $50.00 a year for a blender that will break down or the motor burn out just when you need it most . This blender was recommended to me by a close friend that will be getting a very, very nice Christmas gift this year. I cherish my new Kitchen Aid KSB560 blender like my new bff.
...

chickyloo30 says "Kitchen Aid is a ROARING winner" about KitchenAid KSB560 5 Speed Blender

I had an older version of a Kitchen Aid model. The prongs stuck out of the base and slowly, one-by-one, they kept breaking and then I couldn't use it anymore. When researching the purchase of our new blender I realized that Kitchen Aid revised their 5-speed model and decided to give it a try. I primarily use it for smoothies. It blends well and quickly.

If I had to complain about anything, it would be how loud it is. It is quite loud. I do use mostly frozen fruits so that may contribute, but I wish it was quieter. It is also quite heavy. I don't mind that so much because I like a solid product.

Another perk is Kitchen Aid offers so many colors. We purchased the orange one to match our kitchen, but they have a large variety so you should be able to find one that matches your taste and your kitchen.

I'm pleased we went with a Kitchen Aid again. They last longer and with the newly revised model there aren't any plastic prongs that can break off. Our older model...
...

aniasurvey says "Kitchenaid 5 speed Blender is a powerful, beautiful machine." about KitchenAid KSB560 5 Speed Blender

The Kitchenaid 5 speed blender provides fast and powerful blending and comes in a variety of beautiful colors. The pitcher is made of polycarbonate and is scratch, stain and shatter resistant, not to mention easy to handle and light. It is exceptionally easy to attach and remove from the base and clean up is a breeze. The base is sturdy and prevents tipping and movement of the pitcher during operation.

The motor is extremely quiet and powerful and provides even and consistent blending, even with ice! Making smoothies with frozen fruit takes seconds and provides a perfect texture each and every time. The various speeds are perfect for whatever task you require - whether it's pureeing fruits and vegetables, crushing ice, blending soups, chopping nuts or anything else you need to mix, liquify or pulse.

The style, power and consistency of the Kitchenaid 5 speed blender makes it well worth the higher price than other blenders. This blender is a much needed staple in every kitchen!...
...

The kitchen aid 5 speed blender is really the best that I have ever owned. I have had blenders, smoothie makers, etc.. before, but like when you put fruit in them to make a smoothie or other healthy drink there are usually some pieces or chunks of fruit in them but this blender when you push liquify, it really means it! Within seconds all of the fruit is totally blended in. It has a crush ice button that really does work also, which is great for making frozen drinks....

The kitchen-aid 5 speed blender is amazing. I was a little hesitant spending over 100 dollars on a blender, when I see them for 30 bucks all the time, but this purchase really showed me that you do get what you pay for. with past cheaper blenders, it would take 20 minutes to make a smoothie because all the ingredients would get caught, but not with this very impressive product. Ice is crushed to a smooth consistency within seconds...no fiddling with the machine. Absolutely the best!...

I have had a few $30-$40 blenders that only sometimes worked well or that died within a year. So, this time, I decided to spend the extra money and get a really good blender. Trust me, it was worth the extra money.

Both my husband and I really like fruit smoothies, and it is nice to finally have a blender that mixes the ingredients together really well. It has no problems with an entire pound of frozen strawberries added to ice cream. The container is large enough (56 ounces) to handle more volume than any other blender I've ever used. In addition, we both like to make protein shakes with milk, powder and ice cubes after we work out. Unlike my previous blenders, this one has held up really well to everyday use. The blades are still very sharp. It also works well for blended drinks like margaritas without blending it into a watery mess.

The clean-up is also easy. You just pop the whole thing into the dishwasher. Yes, that's right...no more taking the blade and all the...
...

We knew we needed a blender for two simple reasons: homemade salsa and yogurt smoothies! Both of those items were really tough to make by hand. But shopping for a blender wasn't much fun. I read review after review, discouraged by high prices and low quality. Then a friend told me about Kitchenaid's blender. Already the happy owner of a Kitchenaid stand mixer, I decided to investigate and see how their blender stacked up.

I was delighted to find hundreds of positive reviews, but the bargain price made me wonder if perhaps this kitchen gadget didn't have quite the same quality as my stand mixer. Still, I decided to go with the Kitchenaid reputation and my friend's recommendation, and I am so glad I did! This blender is very sturdy. It can handle crushing ice and mincing tomatoes with equal ease -- without turning either item into absolute mush. The options include Stir, Chop, Mix, Puree, and Liquefy, and the Pulse feature allows the user to control the speed and duration of each action.......
