The K-Aid Food Grinder Attachment Model FGA in pure junk!</p>&#13; <p>It almost killed my K'Aid Stand Mixer!</p>&#13; <p>I was grinding some meat for spaghetti and meatballs, and then I noticed that the mixer began to labor badly!!! I immediately turned off the mixer and removed the grinder from it.</p>&#13; <p>Found out later that liquid had back-flowed into the mixer's machinery which had slowed down the machine very badly!! So I washed and sent the thing back. to Cooking.com and ordered a Waring Pro electric food grinder instead.</p>&#13; <p>Couldn't be happier with it!! The K'Aid attachment is all cheap plastic!! Even the pusher is plastic, which in most photos, it is shown as a wooden one!! I will NEVER buy this again!!!</p>... Tue, 02 Jun 2009 18:58:27 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/KitchenAid-Food-Grinder-Mixer-Attachment-Model-FGA-review-1fff0 Daquan13 1 http://www.viewpoints.com/KitchenAid-Food-Grinder-Mixer-Attachment-Model-FGA-review-77903 <p>I'm always looking to find new things to try in my kitchen.  I purchased the kitchen Aid food grinder attachment to gind meat for making a coarser grind of meat to add to things like homemade chili.  With the first try I loved this product.  It is easy to attach to the stand mixer, easy to use and easy to clean.  One tip to to use meat that is partially frozen and to cut the meat into chunks or thick strips.  I have not given this a 5 star rating due to the fact it does work with cheese as stated on the box, but it does not shred the cheese, it comes out in long tube like pieces.  Great for grinding meat,not for cheese. </p>...
