GreenAngel36 says "Kitchen Aid Professional 600 Mixer A AWESOME MUST HAVE" about Kitchen Aid

I bought the Professional 600 Stand Mixer to make bread with. Let me tell you, it's been a huge time saver! I use it for everything. It mashes potatoes, whips eggs, makes excellent cakes, creams hard butter in minutes and I can finally make great cookies with ease. For Christmas, my mom and I make different breads to give away as gifts. She always comes to my house because I have the mixer and it's such a breeze to dump the ingredients in and let the mixer do the rest. This mixer holds alot so I can always double my recipie. The bowl is stainless steel and the dough hook is the PowerKnead Spiral Hook and kneads dough in half the time of other mixers. When I bought the mixer, it came with an additional free 6qt bowl which at the time I didn't think I needed it but now I know it's another must have for the mixer! Clean up is easy too. If I ever have to but another mixer, I will for sure buy the Professional 600 Stand Mixer!
...

sashannadc says "The Classic Kitchen Aid Mixer is a Mainstay for Baking Mothers." about Kitchen Aid

The Classic Kitchen Aid mixer (5 qt) is a necessary part of any kitchen in which a lot of baking is done. Sturdy, heavy duty, and professional, this appliance with grace your counter for many years. My mother had her first one for 25 years. The only reason she had to replace it was that it was so very old and difficult to get parts for. She also practically wore it out by making bread every week. Any mixer that can stand 25 years of weekly bread kneeding is a sturdy one.

This mixer comes with three attachments: the paddle for cookie dough and beating mashed potaotes, the whisk for whipping cream, egg whites or light batters, and the dough hook for making bread. This specific one also comes with a splash guard, very useful to prevent flour or cream from splashing out of the bowl when the mixer is on high speeds. The Kitchen Aid can perform all tasks profficiently and quickly. It brings the ease of professional baking into your home to your own kitchen counter.
...

The Kitchen Aid Mixer is the best. It is built well and I havea not encountered any problems with it at all. They come in great colors! I have the red one and love it. You can add all sorts of attachements to it if you wish and it can do the job of many smaller kitchen appliances all in one. It is a bit heavy but I guess that is because it is built so well.
...

Kitchen Aid mixers are the most amazing kitchen gadget made today. I use it for making cakes and cookies and they are always quick and easy. I enjoy using it and it is a fast and convenient gadget to use. It is pretty easy to clean and it comes with lots of cool attachments that you can use to grind meat, stuff sausage, and make pasta all using the basic kitchen aid mixer. I use the meat grinder a lot, it saves me money at the supermarkets and allows me to customize my ground meat products to get healthier and more delicious dishes out of my kitchen. Unfortunately, I doubt this mixer will become more affordable in the future, if anything, it seems that prices are rising every year with the introduction of more expensive and fancier models. The attachments can be pricey too though sometimes department stores run specials with free attachments and good discounts. I think this is a great wedding gift or moving in gift for a family member. It is the perfect gift for someone...
...

a100indecisions says "As soon as you can afford one, BUY IT" about Kitchen Aid

Growing up, I remember my mom had a Kitchen Aid mixer. She didn't bake very much, so it was always the "big mixer" that was buried in a kitchen cabinet. Whenever she needed it to make a cake, we had to crawl into the back of the cabinet, get out the stand part, get out the bowl, and then dig through the drawers of utensils to find the attachments. So I grew up thinking that big stand mixers were more of an annoyance than anything else. I used a hand mixer for a good 10 years before I finally caved in and bought a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I bought it at Costco, so it was significantly less than regular price - and it came with a few extra attachments and a mail-in rebate for a free additional bowl.

Oh.My.God. My mom had it all wrong. That mixer never should have been buried in the back of the cabinet. It should have had prime real estate on the countertop. The Kitchen Aid makes short work of everything. No need to stand there while your arm gets tired holding the mixer for 5 minutes,like...
...

I received this as a gift and thought I would never use it. I was so wrong! It is so much easier to clean than handheld mixers. It has a feature that helps you make pasta which I hven't tried yet. It is more expensive than many other upright mixers but I think it is owrth it. It is a sturdy piece of equipment. The only downside is that it takes up a decent amount of storage space which can be problematic for individuals with extremely limited cabinet or counter space.
...

MyPretty96 says "Fantastic Machine For Home Made Bread" about Kitchen Aid

The Kitchen Aid mixer does cost more than your average mixer, but it's worth it! I love to make homemade bread. I've burned through many a mixer, killing the motor with kneading thick breads.

The Kitchen Aid is the first mixer I've owned that has the engine strength to handle everything I throw at it. The bread hook is the best I've ever used. It's good for small things as well.

Honestly, it's a great machine. My mother has one since I was a litle (I'm now grown with a family of my own). Her's is still running strong.
...

I love my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. For almost 15 years it's helped me turn out everything from cakes and breads to meatloaf.

Since I always need an extra hand, this gives it to me. It mixes, whips, or kneads while I measure ingredients or check the recipe. It's my only appliance that stays on the counter; all the others get stored in cabinets. My husband uses it too and loves making mashed potatoes in it.

It will surely last forever, but if it ever dies, I'm getting another one - quickly!
...

Ok my mom got the Kitchen aid mixer as a gift for Christmas. She decided to give it to me and I'm ecstatic about it. My mom isn't a baker. I bake more often because I have this now. Who wants to mix cream cheese and butter together with no mixer. It would take forever and having small hands won't help. It comes with a recipe book and a wire whip for beating eggs, the flat beater for mixing regular cakes and the dough hook. I use the flat beater the most. I attempted to use the dough hook once but I am bad at making dough so far. The recipe book has some awesome recipes to follow which I haven't gotten to yet since I was using other recipes. My mom says this Kitchen Aid has found it's niche and I agree....

SkidMarx says "It's so quiet I don't even know it's running!" about Kitchen Aid

I've been using my Kitchen-Aid dishwasher that I purchased from Sears for about four months now, and it's great! Besides having plenty of cycle options, a large silverware/utensil basket, fold down racks and various holding clips, and of course the standard Kitchen-Aid stainless steel tub, the best thing about this dishwasher is how unbelievably quiet it is! The first time I ran it I had to check to make sure it was actually running, it was so quiet. Every dishwasher I've had in the past was so noisy that you had to leave the kitchen in order to have a normal conversation, and even if you were in the next room you could hear the dishwasher over the TV, etc. Not so with this Kitchen-Aid, it's so quiet you never hear it change cycles, or go off, etc. And with separate wash arms for the upper and lower racks, you don't have to worry about your upper rack dishes not getting cleaned adequately. The best major kitchen appliance I've ever bought....

We saved up to buy the Kitchen Aid set of red knives and when we got home, we were very disapointed in how well they cut. They were by far the worst set of knives I have ever owned. A ten dollar set would of worked better. I guess this is a case were your paying for looks, not QUALITY. Very disapointed. Everything else that I have of Kitchen aid is great, but they should not make knives....
