I LOVE Huggies and have used them for all of my 3 kids. However, I recently tried the Kirkland brand and think I have found a new favorite. They are ALOT like Huggie Supreme diapers I think. Nice and soft and no blowouts or leaks yet... :) Not a bad price either. Especially when they have a coupon for them!
...

My son really likes to go and the Kirkland brand hasn't experienced any leaks. Recently (my son just turned 2) we tried Huggies because they were slightly cheaper at Costco (.186 vs .187 or so) per diaper. We couldn't wait until we ran out of the Huggies diapers because they did not fit him as well, nor did they hold as much. I cannot recall one experience of him leaking #2 with these diapers, however, we have had that happen with other brands.

For us, the larger package is a plus as well. We would prefer to shop one time for the month or two rather than go back to the store multiple times to purchase more diapers.

Friends have commented about the other brands being softer, but personally, I cannot tell a difference and our son has not experienced any issues. Overall, we are extremely happy with the Kirkland Diapers and tend to buy a package for our friends that are expecting children.
...

NEW York -- Few segments of the baby care category have seen as much innovation in recent years as disposable diapers.

With suppliers of the largest national brands and those catering to the store brand side of the market working to meet evolving consumers and differentiating their products from those of their competitors the disposable diaper market is seeing dramatic changes.

Recently suppliers have introduced disposable diapers with superior fit and the ability to absorb and contain wetness.

While private label products have made a strong impact on the category over the past few years, branded manufacturers have begun using aggressive pacing and promotion to remain competitive.

Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G), for instance, recently began a new marketing campaign for its Luvs brand of diapers.

Based on the Beatles song "All You Need Is Love," the "All You Need is Luvs" campaign coincides with Pig's introduction of Luvs diapers with new Bear Hug Stretch, a feature that marketers say gives...
...

Okay so I tried these diaper size 1-2 because they where cheaper than than any other brand. they where great. But by the time my daughter moved onto a size 3 I was shopping at Costco and to my surprise there was 20 more diapers in the Huggies box for the same price as the Kirkland Brand. So I immediately grabbed the box of Huggies. They are not cheaper than Huggies, but if they where cheaper than Huggies I would totally switch to the Kirkland brand.
...

I am on a VERY tight budget due to a divorce, so I must make every purchase go the furthest, which is why I'm researching diapers as if I'm looking to make a long term investment. It makes very little sense to me to purchase 208 Kirkland diapers for $49.99, when I could purchase 204 Huggies Snug & Dry or 204 Pampers Baby Dry diapers at Sam's Club for $39.48.

Out of all the many, many diapers I've tried (aquired from showers, gifts, etc), the very best for my daughter, is the Meijer Dry Babies. The hospital I delivered at gave a coupon book for "freebies" for different locations. This is how I came to know Dry Babies. Also, their wipes are just as good as National brands.
...

I have been using Kirkland since my baby came home from the hospital. i really love them and they were great for the first 4 months. As my baby got bigger and so did his appetite for formula, the diaper changes became more frequent. This was fine because sometimes Costco would offer money off on cases of their diapers and we would save a lot of money. They were absorbant and very comfortable. As my baby has grown I have found he is so active that the diapewrs may not be as suitablr any longer. Then they came out with their supreme and mission was accomplished. At 5 months he was leaking through the diapers and wetting his bed and I did not want to have to double diaper him, we went up one size and the problem was solved. I now find that the newer diaper have been leaving lint on his bottom and privates. I have to pick little pieces off his areas so he does not get an infection. This is hard because he is a squirmy little baby when its changing time so I had to switch to a name brand diaper...
...

I have 2 boys, one of whom is still in diapers. With my first, I was convinced that I had to have the name brand diapers - that any store brand was just a cheap and inferior product. I finally switched to the Kirkland brand when he was in a size 4 diaper and I couldn't believe I hadn't switched sooner! They fit great and didn't leak. They held up to lots of running around and never moved out of place.

I don't like that the smallest size is a 1-2 though (they are short in the back in that size and I've had blowout problems with them), so I didn't get them for my second son until he was in a size 3. He is a big boy so it was sooner than I anticipated, which was fine by me. I have never had a problem with them at all. I have only had to clean up 2 blowouts (both were minor compared to the Huggies, Pampers and Luvs blowouts which for some reason didn't work for my second son) and the tags never rip when trying to fasten them like on some other brands. Yes, they are a bit inconvenient...
...

I got a big box of these for my baby shower, and my-oh-my was I suprised!

First of all, the quality that you get is JUST like a Huggies diaper but without the obnoxious Mickey and Minnie designs. (Hello... NOT boy friendly!) I love the little Zoo Animals designs.

They are:

Well designed and comfortable (no rashing, chafing around legs)

Very absorbent (great for overnight use)

A great price

You get a huge quantity at one time

I will definitely buy these again. They are a great value and really just a great product. Of course, you come to expect high quality from Costco; they don't seem to cut a lot of corners on their Kirkland Signature Brand products....

Kirkland Diapers (Size 1-2) are just as good as any of the brand diapers, yet they give such a better value and price.
We have a 2 month old and tried Luvs, Huggies, and Pampers Swaddlers before trying Kirkland diapers. We experienced leaks and "squishiness" with the name brand diapers, and trying to keep up w/coupons and who's got them on sale this week was more work than I wanted to take on. I'm a die hard bulk buyer, and we are regular shoppers at Costco each month so we decided to try the Kirkland diapers. I'm so glad we did. They are inexpensive ($30 for 240, size 1-2), well-constructed, and always the same price. I buy a case at a time and we have never had a leak. Their wipes are great too (also available by the case). This will be the diaper/wipe brand we use from now on. ...

After trying all varieties of name brand diapers (and some non-name brand diapers as well), we discovered the Kirkland brand diapers to be the best. While they are economical, they are also of high-quality, being incredibly absorbent and the best at locking out leaks (from small leaks to the unfortunate blowouts that so often occurred with our breastfed baby). Our daughter is now in size 4, and we have stuck right by the Kirkland brand the entire way without any reconsideration....
