I've had my Kirby G6 for 8 years and absolutely LOVE it! I've not had a single problem with it and it still cleans just as good as it did the day I bought it. With the various attachments, it's a great tool for cleaning furniture, stairs, blinds, ceiling fans, etc... I decided to purchase a Kirby after having several "store brand" vacs fail on me. I would recommend a Kirby to anyone who wishes to never replace their vac again!...

I have really long hair. It ends up around the house. This vac cant handle it and ends up not working as well....

THE KIRBY VAC IS A UGLY EXPENSIVE AND HEAVY. I REALLY DISLIKE IT. IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE NOZZLES OF ANYTHING LIKE THAT YOU HAVE TO TURN TO THE GREEN ARROW AND TAKE THE FRONT PART OFF THEN ATTACH THE PARTS YOU NEED AND THEN TURN THE NOZZLE AGAIN TO LOCK IT AND IT IS A REAL HEADACHE FOR ME. I WILL NEVER INVEST IN SOMETHING LIKE THIS AGAIN. I WOULD RATHER GET ON MY HANDS AND KNEES WITH A SCRUB BRUSH !!!...

I have the Kirby G 2000 and I love it It has super great power and picks up everything. I did haggle with the salesman when he come to the door the price started out at over 1200 but i knew my motherinlaw got the same one for 600 and before it was all said and donr I did to.You cant be a sucker for the first price they give you. It does everything I need . And the shampooer is just as awsome as the vacuming itself.. The only downfall was that it took me some time to learn how to put the head back on after using the attachements but i got it down to a tee now. I wouldnt own any other vacum after having my Kirby. It is the best i have ever had

A salesman came to my door with this new Kirby model about 8 years ago as well. What he didn't know was that I already had two older Kirby's in the closet. I was already sold on the product before he even began his sales pitch. I had seen the "Rainbow" sale pitch as well. I don't have that kind of time to go through a whole cleaning of the vacuum process after cleaning the house. I am a very clean person by the way "OCD" according to my husband and borderline germaphobe.

I traded in one of my older kirbys for the G-six model which dropped the price a great deal. He even threw in the whole shampooer unit at no extra cost. So if you want to upgrade get the price first then tell them you have an older model and ask how much can they take off for being a loyal customer.

I would not trade my Kirby for anything else but another Kirby. I have to admit Dyson is quite up there though but..... I only need my one vacuum for all my needs.

The Kirby shampoos the carpet, washes the floor,...

We had the salesman come to our door offering to clean one of our carpets for free. Was just a sales ploy to enter the house. I have to say, it cleans the carpets remarkably well, and the shampooer is fabulous. It is because of the shampooer that I even gave this vacuum 2 stars, it would have been a 1 otherwise. It's expensive, it's inconvenient to use the attachments, an it's heavy! ...

All-Purpose, Must Have Vacuum, Carpet Shampooer

I purchased the Kirby G 2000 Limited Edition almost 8 years ago, and I have had nothing but good experiences with it.

It has so many features that have been useful to me, and each feature was easily laid out in the manual with instructions and accompanying pictures. I have been able to vacuum everywhere with better results! The vacuum can be transformed to easily to fit in tight spots, to clean corners, closets, stairs and cars.

The Kirby also has the attachments and capabilities to become a carpet shampoo system. This is done by easy to follow, illustrated instructions. I have saved time and money by not having to rent out a shampooing system or pay for a "professional" job... and the Kirby does as good of job as a professional service does!
