Everyone I feel your pain. I bought a Kingdown and it is terrible after 9 months it began sagging!!! Pinched nerve after pinched nerve I wised up!

I just called Kingsdown at 800-800-1353 and requested a kit to take pictures of the sagging. If the mattress saggs more than 1.5 inches they will send you a new mattress!!

No wonder they changed their name! Good Luck Everyone!

I got the Kingsdown Tranquility set (mattress and boxspring) from Mattress Giant and love it! Also got a very good frame too, which is important for support. I'm sleeping better than I was before I got the mattress and when I wake up, I don't feel like I need another three hours of sleep.

It comes with a 20 year warranty too, double that of other brands. If I had to choose again, I would get this one without hesitation.

I have had a kingsdown mattress for 7 years the last 3 years I have been very uncomforable every night due to a huge sag in the middle of the bed. I requested a warrenty kit and followed the step by step instructions. A few weeks later they sent me a letter telling me our claim was being denied. They went on to tell me that there seamed to be nothing structurally wrong with the mattress and that they do not warant comfort. To me a mattress's number one quality should be comfort. Further more they requested my original sales slip and never returned it. So now I can not make any future claims. I did enjoy my mattress for the first 4 years that it provided comfort, but am now VERY dissatisfied with Kingsdown. If you wish to have a mattress that is of high quality, but very uncomfortable to sleep on buy Kingsdown, however if you wish to sleep comfortably all night take your buisness elsewhere; maybe to a mattress manufacturer that warrents comfort.

My wife and I purchased the Kingsdown body system after trying our sons bed, he was away so we tried his bed and were like OMG this is the best matress we have ever slept on. We both slept throught the night. I fall asleep on my back and wake up in the same position, it is nothing like it anywere. We were considering one of those sleep number beds, please its an air mattress, how can air give you support. The "choose your own level of comfort" is nothing but a gimic. The testing machine they had were we bought the bed is a true test for support level. Good luck choosing, but consider this bed anyone that complains about this bed, probably were too cheap to buy it in the first palce and would complain anyway! You never get what you dont pay for.

Let me start by telling you how sad we are to have a mattress that we love to sleep on turn out to be such garbage. My husband and I purchased the Kingsdown Sleep to Live 400 green in april 09 and in the first month or so we noticed it was sagging on each side very much. I will also mention that we are not big people by any means, so that could not have been a factor. The big name mattress retailer we purchased it from sent a rep out to measure the sags and found it was about 2 inches on each side with a huge hump in the middle. We recieved a credit for a new mattress and we decided to go with the same one again since the problem was never the comfort level, it was the terrible sagging. The rep they sent to us deemed the mattress a "manufacturer defect" so we were also thinking that the one we had was just a defected one and thought we'd give it another chance. When they sent the new mattress we were told that we would have to pay a $90 delivery charge! This was very upsetting...

About 4yrs ago my husband and I purchased a Kingsdown body system mattress. The sales rep talked very highly of the Kingsdown mattress and also said he had one. So we tried it out and thought it was comfortable.We purchased the mattress and box spring,thinking we got a high quality product. However, after 4yrs the mattress is sagging. I called or mattress company where we had purchased it. So they sent out a tech to check the mattress out. He took pictures and said they would get back to us. In a week I was contacted by the mattress company, she told me that the bed is sagging but Kingsdown will not cover the warrantybecause there is a stain on the mattress.We did not know there was a stain on the mattress because it was so small and on the outside edge.So we decided to Kingdown.Well that was a mistake!!!!! When I called, Ispoke to the manager her name was Jenn.I told her that the mattress company told me that Kingsdown will not cover the warranty because of the stain even though the mattress...

The wife and I went mattress shopping last weekend looking to replace our 8 yr old Simmons California King Beauty Rest. Went to Sit and Sleep here in So. Cal ( Redlands) The salesman gave us the pitch about Sleep to Live's body diagnostic system. I was kind of like... yeah yeah yeah, but being good sports we decided to play along. My wife and I both came up "green".We first tried out a Kingsdown/Sleep to Live 700 series and liked it. We then used this bed and the computer report as a barometer in trying out at least 15-20 other beds during the next hour or so. We kept coming back to the 700. It felt like sleeping on a cloud ....we are 52 and 51 in age and liked the softer support that the bed offers. We bought it and had our first night on it last night. Pretty good experience. I know that it will most likely take a full week or so to get used to, but so far so good.

I fell for the pressure point test, and bought the the most espensive "blue tag model" $3700.00 bucks, I still have to turn all the time as my arms and shoulders get numb, and I get hot, and have to keep moving to a cooler spot, now that I think about it, there was no sample showing the insides of the bed, like Sealy and Serta had, it feels like a bunch of foam covering the springs, it just keeps in the heat and does not relieve the pressure points. I also noticed Sit & Sleep dropped it from their line of beds. Beware of this bed!!

We bought the Kingsdown "Magnificience" . A better name for it would be the Kingsdown "Pathetic". Four thousand dollars....down the drain. We have had this for almost 11 months and there's a huge hump in the middle. We did everything extra that Mattress Giant suggested, a nine point heavy duty frame, the protection spray that MG puts on the mattress, we got their special gortex mattress pad. At first we were somewhat pleased with the bed until the ski slope started appearing, the only thing we didn't like was how hot it seemed all the time. I switched from the gortex mattress pad to a traditional high quality expensive mattress pad and it did seem to help with the heat issue. I went by MG a week ago to tell them about the huge hump in the center of the bed and they said they would contact Kingsdown who in turn would send out a kit. They also advised us that there would be a 60.00 fee to pick up the old mattress and bring a new one. That seemed very unfair to me, we got the bad......

It was my first matress buy in 19 years. And I fell in love with and recently purchased the Kingsdown Body System Mattress. It had all the features that I thought I wanted but when it came to a good nights sleep, I found myself getting stuck and had a had time rolling over. Too much cushion) I had to return the matress. I am not a spring chicken anymore and I found it too difficult to flop over during the night and woke up even stiffer than when I went to bed. It also was very difficult to put sheets on because of the size I guess. On the positive note the mattress is a very good quality, I was impress with the workmanship and the price vs quality ration was just fine. The materiasl were listed and I was happy to see that. I did enjoy the fact that it was so big and cushy, unfortunately for me however, it was not for me. If I were 20 years younger and a little more flexable I would probably enjoy the mattress much more.

4 years ago I purchased a Kings Down bed (well over the amount I budgeted for) because I fell for the whole schpeel! Come lay on this, here's what I would recommend, ita has a lifetime warranty, blah, blah, blah! Well now that I have problems the lifetime warranty dropped down to 10 years, but the kicker is Kings Down allows itself 2" for the mattress to sink!! So when you are only at 1"..."keep an eye on it and call us when it starts to sag more!" Are you kidding me?! 2" is constantly rolling into eachother in the middle of the bed, 2" is always waking up with back pain, 2" is never feeling like you slept a full night, 2" is TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

I live in the UK but have nicked a US postcode so I could submit this review as I'm so desperate to tell someone how bad my Kingsdown mattress is and how frustrated I am. I like others, stupidly fell for being "analysed" on the scientific bed, the salesman advising: "you need the softest bed we have" which flies in the face of the well known advice that a firm bed is needed for bad backs. I have had it for a miserable 12 months.

Its so bad - it sags, it weighs a tonne, you can only use one side, it cost a fortune, it gives me excruitiating pain in my back and hip, I have to wake up to turn over, I get up for a rest from it in the night, I sleep on the very edge as its the firmest bit and sometimes fall out. Need I say anymore, I hate it so much.

I'm saving up for a firmer, cheaper one. Thanks for listening.

Kingsdown is one product I wish never came into my life. Sleep America had great sales rep. He convinced us that this was indeed the best product for our physical ailments. We took a computer test that said we needed this Kingsdown. But in reality the sales rep wanted our money. Kingsdown sags to the bottom. It has no memory in the foam. A very large hump in the center. They exchanged it once. I need it enchanged again. What I really need is it gone from my life. The body pain is fierce. Hip pain is the worse. Once you "climb" into bed you can not move freely. You must be willing to stay in the same position all night or get up and out to roll over.

I have had my KingsDown Mattress for about a year and I love it! It was a gift from a friend and It is so comfortable. I do not want to get out of bed. I used to love firmer mattresses but this KingsDown has changed my attitude about having a firm mattress. I am not sure why anyone would write a bad review about this mattress. It's great!
