My daughter was a preemie and we were told over and over again that swaddling was going to be invaluable to her. My mother in law bought this for us for just that reason. My daughter HATED it. He wanted to always have her arms out and her thumb available for sucking from day one and swaddling her in this just made her angry. Also, there was a little hole that I'm sure served a purpose but we never could figure out what that purpose was except for her to get her tiny feet stuck in it.

I have heard great things about this from other parents; it really does a great job swaddling and the velcro closure is great because with regular blankets, babies can easily squirm their way out of a tight swaddle. With this, until they learn to undo velcro or use a lot of strength to pull it open, they aren't likely to get out.

When we brought our daughter home from the hospital, it was in the heat of the summer. I wanted to run the AC but we also had to keep her warm. She was and still is a very active baby. She kicks and moves her hands constantly and we could not keep her covered at night. She would wake up crying. She would also get the blankets lose and was able to pull them over her face. It didn't matter how tight we would swaddle her. I finally came across these blankets at Toys R Us and I loved them. She was actually able to sleep through the night and I didn't have to worry about her being cold or getting the blankets over her face. They were a life saver! After just a short time, she outgrew the small ones and it was impossible to find the large ones in the store. I finally found them on EBay and bought a couple so when I am washing one, I still have one to use. I bought one cotton and one flannel so depending on the temp, I have one for either hot or cool nights!

Kiddopotamus Swaddle Blanket

I was having a tough time putting my baby to sleep until a friend suggested to use a swaddler. I got the swaddle blanket and would swaddle my baby soon after his bath. He would just snug in all wrapped up and go off to sleep just by the time i would finish swaddling him. He just loved it! I have been using the swaddler right from the time he was a newborn adn he is 6 months old now and still loves to be swaddled after his bath time. Intially I would wrap his arms too which he loved them but noe I have to take his arms off as he no longer appreciates them being wrapped up inside the swaddler. This product can particularly be good for winter babies to keep them warmer and snuggier in the cold season. Though mine was not a winter baby, still I used it quite a lot and my baby was happy about it. Now as it is getting cooler, he doesn't mind even being swaddled during the entire ngiht that he sleeps. Its a boon for parents with fussy sleepers!

We love the SwaddleMe blankets. My baby will not sleep without one. It makes me feel like my baby is safe and secure and there isn't a risk of suffocating on loose blankets. Sometimes the material gets too stretched out and will not keep him swaddled though. Also the velcro isn't always sticky.

When we brought our son home from the hospital, he would not sleep, but we decided to start swaddeling him with the SwaddleMe blankets. All of a sudden our newborn was sleeping for at least three hours straight; sometimes we had to wake him up so he could eat. He is now four months old and is still being swaddled in SwaddleMe blankets. We tried to have him unswaddled and he hated it!

The features I like best about the SwaddleMe blankets are the velcro tabs, the designs, and the soft fabrics. However, after a few days of wearing the swaddle me, the fabric becomes stretched out and it no longer holds my son in, he can break free because the tabs have to stretch over the place they...

Our little one was a restless sleeper, but once we put him in the Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe blanket, he started sleeping through the night! Before we used to swaddler he would wake himself up by hitting himself or kicking his legs. Once we wrapped him in the swaddle blanket, he was nice and tight and went right to sleep. He would only wake up to eat. I highly recommend this product.

This Kiddopotamus SwqaddleMe blanket is great for young babies. It keeps them feeling safe and secure and warm. This is a must have item for every new parent. We had attended lamaze class and learned about the importance of swaddling a new baby to help them sleep. It seems that movement of their arms as they sleep can wake them and cause them to have trouble sleeping. This was really true for my son. No matter how hard we tried, we just couldn't get the hang of swaddling him like the nurses in the hospital did. Thank goodness for this blanket. It had velcro attachments that easily help you swaddle baby tightly. It also helps keep baby nice and warm during chilly nights without the fear that blanket will cover their face or wrap around their neck can. They come in many colors and are very soft and pleasing. I would recommend this to all new parents for their little ones. You will notice that they sleep better too.

I liked that fact that I could swaddle by baby easily with the velcor tabs, but he out grew it very quickly and easily kicked himself out of it. It also stuck to it's self and every thing else in the laundry, eventually ruining the velcro.

I was a little bit leary of using a swaddle blanket, but I love the Kiddopotamus Swaddle Blanket. I really wish I would have used this with my first born. My daughter actually gets upset if I don't use it at night. It really comforts her and helps sothe her to sleep. It helps her to sleep through the night. Sometimes her arms will break free in the night and she will wake up but if I just reswaddle her whe will go right back to sleep. She is almost 3 months and I still use it. I will probably stop once she starts to roll over.

Before the birth of our first baby, I registered for the Kiddopotamus Swaddle Me blanket. I received a green, cotton swaddle. For some reason, I decided to pack it in the hospital bag as we were headed out the door. I'm so glad that I did!

The hospital dressed him in a wrap-style shirt and flannel blanket, but he kept wriggling out of the blanket. I remembered the Swaddle Me, wrapped up the baby, and he just seemed so cozy and content! Everyone (family, friends, nurses) commented on what a cute "little green bean" we had...and the nickname stuck around for a while! We have such fun hospital pictures of everyone holding our little guy all swaddled and cozy in his Swaddle Me!

We continued to use the Swaddle Me after bringing the baby home. Since we only had one, it endured many, many trips through the washer and dryer in the early days. It held up well for weeks, and we loved how the Swaddle Me always calmed our little guy and kept that newborn "startle reflex" from waking...

My son would not sleep without being swaddled. We tried different swaddles but the best one by far was the Swaddle Me. It was easy to use and it made swaddling very fast. The velcro was strong and it also allowed for diaper changes in the middle of the night without unswaddling by just taking down the bottom flap. At around 3 months he was busting out of it, but nothing could keep him swaddled at that point and it was time to go without. My next child will start out with the Swaddle Me.

I got the swaddle me as a shower gift for my first child. I really like the ease of use and the soft fabric. She really enjoyed being swaddled tightly and this helped comfort her and get her back to sleep. the swaddle me is so much easier and quicker than trying to get them swaddled in a blanket. It also stays tight and unless you have a really active baby will stay in place and they won't kick out of it. However, the loud velcro often startled her into alertness when trying to change a diaper in the middle of the night. Also, she outgrew it very quickly so that the bottom was too tight around her legs. My second daughter didn't like to be swaddled at all and a sleepsack was a much better alternative for her. Unfortunately, you won't know how your child will like to sleep until you get them home so getting one after you see how they enjoy a traditional blanket swaddle would be a great idea.

I absolutely love the Swaddle Me blanket. Our three-week old needs to be swaddled to sleep. Every time I swaddle her with a regular blanket, it comes undone. After worrying about her getting tangled in the regular blankets, I finally decided to give the Swaddle Me blanket a shot. And am I ever glad I did! The Velcro closures keep it snug and secure around baby and it eliminates worries about coming undone or getting pushed up around the face. The bottom "sack" part can be unfastened for diaper changes without unswaddling baby's arms and torso.

It comes in two weights - a light-weight cotton and a warmer micro-fleece. There are also a lot of colors and patterns to choose from.

Definitely a must-have for any parents with a baby that wants to be swaddled!

I started using the Swaddle Me Swaddle Blanket with my daugher born in 2005. I instantly fell in love with it (and the baby!). Being swaddled reminds babies of being in the womb, which comforts them. I am again using the blanket with my newest baby (8 weeks). She sleeps so well when wearing her blanket. She has been sleeping through the night since she was 2 weeks and i think the blanket has a lot to do with it. During the day, if I can't get her to sleep, I swaddle her, and she is asleep within minutes. This product is worth its reasonable price:)

We swaddled my first child with a regular blanket with great success. He slept great from 8 weeks old. When my second child came along, I tried the same technique we used on our first. Didn't work! He was such a wiggle worm from birth. He could break out of the swaddle, no matter how tight, in a matter of minutes. We weren't getting any sleep! Finally, I decided to look into the Swaddle Me Swaddle Blanket. What a lifesaver. My son was sleeping through the night within a week of using this blanket. He can no longer break free of the swaddle. I am in love!!!!! A great feature of this blanket is the easy diaper changing. You don't have to completely remove the blanket. It makes for quick middle of the night changes.
