If you have never been to Kiddieland, please don't underestimate this place because you'll have a blast. I've been a bunch of times, but my favorite time is when I had to rediscover Kiddy Land was fun when I took my daughters. I thought it wasn't going to be for me but I had a really good time, and I didn't have to have any alcoholic drinks to keep me busy. There was plenty of rides and they still give you a thrill even at age 25 years old. They also had water rides, mini big roller coasters if you know what I mean by that. They also have good food junk food and cotton candy to get you threw the day and keep you running around with the little ones. My favorite ride I can recommend for you would be the Pirate ship. This ride almost goes upside down but really doesn't but still this is enough to scare or turn any adult stomach upside down Kiddie land or not. They also had a game room were you can when a lot of neat prizes for the kids. Just a good low key place to go.

It is a shame this place is closing down. It was always so much fun and so reasonable. Easy access and just a great place to visit with children and family alike.

We always enjoyed going to Kiddie Land. We are saddened at it's closing. It is a place that will defintiely be missed by so many people. A landmark.

Have always loved kiddieland and the park its self!! We are truly sad to see it is leaving, we are going to spend a new days there this summer with the kids to get some awesome memories before the end of the season & the park.

We will always have our childhood memories & photos from the park - if you can stay another year, please do!!

I have brought my child to this ammusement park since he was two years old and now he's ten and he still has a blast. From the time we arrive til the time we leave he has the biggest smile on his face. This park is clean, safe and has such a family atmosphere and has the best hot dogs to eat....

I am a roller coaster enthusiest who travels the North America riding roller coasters and have visited Kiddieland many times. I live about an hour and a half from the park so I try to get there at least two to three times per season. The Little Dipper roller coaster is a great coaster from PTC and MR. Herbert P. Schmeck from the 1950's and is fun for everybody. Also, the log flume is very cool and refreshing on a hot summer day. The park also has a classic old time carousel and many fun rides for kids as well as a cloection of rides for everybody. All of the rides are operated very well, and kept in very good condition. The park is very clean and tidy and the staff is one of the better ones in the amusement park industry. Overall, A great classic park worth visiting while in Chicago during the summer.

Oh and they have free unlimited soft drinks!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. THIS IS A PLACE THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN ENJOY. MY FAMILY AND I GO EVERY YEAR. MY SON LOVES GOING ON THE RIDES. I LOVE THAT HE CAN GO ON ALL THE RIDES HE WANTS TO GO ON. While on vacation, my husband and I took the kids to Kiddie Land. It is a kiddie amusement park located in Melrose Park, (Chicago) and it is a feast of rides for little ones.

What I liked about Kiddie Land in Melrose Park....

Kiddie Land is an amusement park with MANY rides appropriate for toddlers. They have everything that a toddler would wantto ride- cars, space ships, carousels, boats, etc. The great thing about Kiddie Land is that your toddlers arent limited to the few "safe" rides like most amusement parks-- nearly half the park is dedicated to fun rides for little ones.

The park also has rides for older kids (I would say up to about age 10) like bumper cars and the "octopus" (arms go up and you spin). They also have the classics like the Tilt o' World and a small roller coaster. Those rides are in a separate section of the park so the bigger kids arent running around where the little guys are playing.

My 2 and 3 years olds were in absolute heaven!! They have talked about their...
