The Kenmore upright freezer (14.4cu) does a good job but is a bit loud when running. This is a small price to pay , you just have to get used to it.

We finally purchased an upright freezer this summer. We decided to go with the Sears Kenmore Upright freezer 13.7 cu. ft. I absolutely love it! I have 4 growing boys and the extra room to store meat, breads, and frozen treats when they go on sale at the supermarket has helped us to save a TON of money! I also liked the idea of being able to see everything inside the freezer once the door is opened and not having to dig through layers of food to see what is inside. The Kenmore freezer runs very quietly. It also has a temperature read on the outside so you don't have to wonder if it is working properly. It also has an alarm if the power goes off or the door is ajar. It also came with a key so we can keep it locked so that our four year old doesn't keep getting in and out of it. I would recommend this product for anybody with a large growing family. We have purchased several Kenmore products from Sears and have been very happy with all of them. If you are in the market...

I owned a Kenmore Upright Freezer when my children were growing up. I had owned others, but my Kenmore was the best. It never gave me any problems in 14 years. If you have a large famaly it is the only way to go. It is energy efficientand has plenty of freezer space. I would never own another brand.

We needed a full size freezer for out beef that we raise to butcher. We prefer the upright to the chest due to ease of finding differant products, instead of buried food. The door alarm has saved us more than once. The self defrosting may use more energy but the convenience is so worth it. Every bit of space is available for storage, nice interior lighting and temp. guage/setting is easy and noticable to use. Worth every penny......

Kenmore Upright Freezer is suppose to be frost free, but we have trouble since we bought the freezer in May with frost building up on the top of the door. So far we have gotten the run around....

I love our Kenmore upright freezer except for one nagging issue. The water filter replacement cartridges are too expensive. $50 a shot every 4 to 6 months. I don't understand why they are so expensive....

I researched this freezer before buying it and it had mixed reviews but I was not anticipating this freezer being so LOUD! We placed it in our basement but you can hear it so clearly that I lost sleep last night. Now I am stuck trying to figure out if I want to keep it, since after reviewing several Kenmore freezer reviews it appears they are all noisy! I do like the layout of the freezer and the features on it, especially the alarm feature which tells you whent he door has been left open more than 5 minutes. However, if I had known it was going to be this loud, I would have bought nother brand....

I just purchased a Kenmore upright freezer yesterday from Sears. I was surprised to find a medium capacity upright for just over $400.00. It has outside door controls and a lock. The lock is an important safety feature for me, very important if you have small children around. The lock also keeps my frozen goods secure from intruders, I have some really great lamb in my freezer that I raised myself.

I was impressed with the warranty that was offered by Sears. It will cover up to $250.00 of product if one should have a power outage, I think that is awesome! I had never heard of an offer like that. The warranty was $89.99 for three years, this also covers any parts and labor on my freezer which I guess would cost $90.00 now for just a visit and that is not covering the cost of fixing whatever might be broken.

I am very happy with the purchase and recommend the Kenmore upright freezers to you!!

We have had our Kenmore Upright Freezer for about 9 years now and love it. We both deer hunt each year and have plenty of room for 2 deer plus our vegetables from the gardern and all the bulk supplies i buy for the winter....
