It is compact. It does take up a lot of room in the kitchen and it is very spacious inside. The left side is a freezer. It has three pretty big and roomy shelves. There are also six compartments in the freezer's door. The shelves are made of some kind of metal, they are very light, easily removable and are easily cleanable. There is also filtered ice and water dispenser in the left door. It can be locked if not used. It can be lighted. And you can also choose if you want your ice in cubes or crushed. You will just have to change your filter pretty often otherwise ice will stink and give weird taste to your drink. The right door is the refrigerator itself. There are five mail shelves and the bottom drawer. The shelves are made of glass and the bottom drawer is plastic. They are all easily cleanable. There are also five compartments in the right door. They are all can be moved up and down the inside door, except the top compartment...</p>... So when I go the stores such as best buy or home depot I'm always checking out the fridges adn Kenmore is one brand I would buy. I like the fact that this fridge is big and you can store as much things as you want and have months of food stored in it. I also like the fact I can get clear tasting water that at least taste great and doesn't smell like a rusty iron. This fridge also would be great to have because not only for food but like I mentioned the water content.  like my water to taste great. I don't want to be drinking water that is going to make me sick because my building doesn't know how to care for their tenants and concerned about the water they are consuming. Also I always like hugh fridges because a small one does hold much because than you would have to find another place to store food and I want my food to stay fresh and not rot. Sat, 10 Oct 2009 21:13:00 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Kenmore-Side-by-Side-Refrigerator-review-a31f1 sandrablevins6 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Kenmore-Side-by-Side-Refrigerator-review-84843 <p>I finally had it with my Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator.  I purchased this refrigerator a little over five years ago and I have had nothing but problems.  After only two years, the compressor went out and it happened again 18 months after that.  It was still under warranty, so it was replaced.  I continued having problems it, such as the water line leaking, food freezing in the refrigerator, ice dispenser clogging and a bad door seal.  Well, that was obviously not the end of my troubles.  A few days ago I noticed it stopped working again and when I called to have it serviced, they reminded me it was out of warranty.  Well I just found out I need a new compressor which runs about $1,000.  So, needless to say, it was not worth fixing.  In reading other blogs, mainly on the Sears website, I noticed I am not the only person only getting an average of 5 years on their Kenmore refrigerator.  I was however surprised at the number of positive reviews I see for Kenmore refrigerators...</p>... However, I did have problems with the ice maker leaking; constantly leaving a puddle in my kitchen for my toddlers to slide down on and bump their heads. The freezer has so much space that I could store 4 jugs of milk in addittion to all my other meats and veggies thus giving my 3 star rating.</p>... Mon, 05 Oct 2009 16:37:05 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Kenmore-Side-by-Side-Refrigerator-review-f435 kelvinandlorrrie 3 http://www.viewpoints.com/Kenmore-Side-by-Side-Refrigerator-review-b8df0 <p>This is a wonderful and useful refrigerator, the Kenmore side-by-side.  It has a large capacity, lots of room for party trays, an adequate freezer, and it does not cost an awful lot to operate compared to other side-by-sides.</p> <p>The stainless steel is easy to maintain, and much of the interior is removable for cleaning purposes.</p> <p>I like to have big parties, up to one hundred people, and I certainly couldn't do that without this wonderful refrigerator.  The temperature controls actually work, unlike many refrigerators, and I change temperatures depending on what I have within the refrigerator.</p> <p>You can clean it easily because of the surfaces--stainless steel and porcelain-coated walls and the glass and plastic are removable and, therefore, also easy to clean.</p> <p>Vegetables also seem to last longer in this refrigerator than in others which I have used; I suspect that is because of the temperature controls.  It seems like my vegetables last at least a third longer than in my other refrigerators....</p>...
