The main board has gone on this unit 3 times in the last eight years, at hundreds of dollars a pop for repairs. Not sure if we just got a lemon, based on other positive reviews. It works very well otherwise, but we're not buying another.

Kenmore Range - Elite Double Oven is a terrific stove I have owned one for about three years so easy to operate and very easy to keep clean. Cooking with this Kenmore Elite double oven stove is a breeze.

It really enhances the decore of your kitchen. Black or white either would be great.

Had for 6 months - Ovens won't work - Sears has been out here 2 times and told me it was dirty -they "cleaned it" and it worked for 1 hour -then stopped working again - I must be a really dirty person for it to stop working 1 hour later???? Called for another appointment and they didn't show up - WAiting to see if they show up today - DOn't buy Kenmore appliances -I bought a fridge, dishwasher, garbage disp., double oven, and washer, dryer 6 months ago and fridge was already looked at 2 times as well as oven. Dryer buttons are starting to not work - They are crap -stick to things without fancy computers that don't work

When our old range finally gave out, we went shopping for a new one at our local Sears store. I knew when I walked in the door I wanted to know more about the Kenmore Elite Dual Fuel Double Oven range. I wanted the flexibility of cooking with gas, but felt like that wasn't practical if I was to get a self-cleaning oven. This gives me the best of both. My cooktop is gas and my ovens are electric.

The smooth top is easy to clean. The little second oven is perfect when I'm doing something small like baking potatoes or a pot pie and don't want to heat up the big oven. Even more energy savings!

The range is good looking, easy to clean, flexible enough for a meal for two or a big holiday dinner, and it is one of the most dependable I've ever owned.

When Hurricane Ike caused us to lose electric power recently, we were able to use our gas cooktop (lighting it manually) and invited all the neighbors over for coffee and a hot meal.

Purchased a maytag smooth cook top double oven stove, and I not regretted it ever since, so wonderful to cook on and easy clean up. Would recommend it to every house wife in America....

Will never buy large appliance at Sears ever again, because they cannot get it delivered at a time that suits a working family. We spent over $1600 on new stove and dishwasher. The delivery service people could not even take the dishwasher out of the carton. Go figure, it had a large dent, they did to it when they banged it taking it off the truck. Still waiting for my new dishwasher. They keep scheduling it for 12-2. Hello! I work. Anyone try calling in to the automated service? The representatives are worthless. Can you please make it for after 4 pm???? Never again. The local guy wins hands down. Not only did Sears lose my large purchase business, but no more lands end or kids clothing anymore. Not when there are so many other options out there, that value the customer. Goodbye Sears! I hope plenty of people read this before they buy. Beware of servce too. Too many people warned me.

I have owend a Viking cooktop for over three years. It is wonderful and easy to cook on. I was concerned about the ease of cleaning but it is not a problem at all and sooo much easier than the burners with the "pan" underneath them. Never could get them clean

the flat top stove looks awesome but is extremely hard to clean if you have any thing spill on it when cooking, you also have to purchase a special cleaner which doesn't make cleaning it any easier. We will never purchase another stove like it. I have heard the same thing from our house keeper....

this stove is a flat topwhich means no burners to spill food under. also a self clean oven which really love during the winter because it heats the kitchen. i also found i can put my broiler pan in during the clean cycle and it comes out looking brand new!...
