I purchased the Kenmore Elite Oasis mode 67087 in January 2007. Worked fine until approximately one month ago when it began beeping mid-cycle. I looked over the control panel, no indication of malfunction on the display, just 3 fast beeps. I have already replaced the control board in the washer, so I know the headache/heartache of dealing with Sears, so I left it alone. Last night the dryer beeped itself to death. I heard it beeping non-stop, again went to visit the displays, no indication of a problem, stepped away from it, and it just stopped running. The cost to replace the control board is approximately $120-which I will purchase and replace myself. I will not buy a digital display product ever again.

I purchased this Kenmore Oasis HE dryer along with the washer approximately 6 months ago. I love them. The dryer has a huge capacity and dries very efficiently. A huge load of heavy towels dries in under 25 mins. A great savings of electricity. My daughter bought the same set 2 weeks after I got mine.

Love the capacity but the amount of water that goes in this washer can not possibly clean clothes. I have dogs and am always washing muddy towels. It does not get them clean. I have to add water to even cover the clothes in the washer. I wish I had not purchased it!!!...

I purcahsed both the washer and the dryer about 2 years ago. Thankfully, I also purchased the service plan for repairs. I wanted this machine because of the larger capacity. I have had just about every part replaced and they even tried to re-wire the machine. It just won't shut off. Finally, Sears has qualified this machine under their "no lemon" guarantee. My replacement dryer arrives tomorrow. ...

Love the capacity of this dryer. Dual motors dry clothes quickly. The only problem I have had is receiving error messages every now and again. Usually, I just turn the dryer off and reset it and it's fine. I've called and had Sears Repair out, but they just tell me that the error code I've given them isn't valid. ...

My main purpose of purchasing this set was the capacity of holding a lot. I have king size bedding & wanted something to accomodate my blankets & comforters without having to go to a laundry for the large commercial size machines. For this, it is great. I have had my Elite Oasis set for about 2 years & I am not happy with it at all. The washer tangles everything up at the bottom where the agitator is. If I wash a load of sheets alone or with some towels in it, I get an absolute mess of entanglement which at times also causes the spin cycle to get off balance, sometimes one sheet will form a mushroom shape over everything & this leads me to wonder how clean or how well rinsed are my clothes getting. Jeans & pants will wrap up with each other tie into shirts or whatever is in the mix. I feel like I have to babysit the machine to be sure it is performing properly, unraveling things sometimes is very difficult. The dryer seems to take an extra long time to dry even though it......

I purcased the Oasis He washer and dryer together. The dryer was received but had a big dent in the side and it was sent back to the store. The replacement dryer came with a defect in the timer. There was something blocking the digital numbers and you couldn't read them. The 3rd dryer to arrive was perfect. Well for about 3 months. The electronic board malfunctioned and would turn the unit on during the day and night when not in use. Just the lights would come on and it would beep like a load had finished. The repairman came in and told me that this was an issue with these models and they had not replaced the boards as of yet. Well about 5 months later he was back again to replace the same electronic board, malfunctioning again by beeping the entire time a load was drying. Very irritating and you could not turn the beeping sound off. Why won't sears fix these issues? If you have one of these models I would urge you to purchase the extended warranty. Your going to need it. ......

We moved into a different home and had a rather small laundry closet to work with. I knew I wanted to get a HE washer and dryer, but the front loading sets just wouldn't fit. We also were concerned with having a long distance to vent the dryer. The Kenmore Oasis Canyon Capacity models from Sears were perfect for us. It offers the benefits of an HE model but fits like a standard sized model. It also has an extra blower to accomodate longer dryer vent runs. I am very happy with the options and ease of operation, too!...
