I absolutely love my new Kenmore 400 electric dryer. I purchased it in April 2009 along with the matching washer. The dryer is a great basic dryer. I didn't need one with all sorts of fancy bells and whistles - just a good basic dryer. I like this better than any of the other clothes dryers that I've had over the years. I use it with a fabric softener sheet to fluff up my bed pillows. It dries a queen size comforter with no problems. No matter what I've put in my dryer it comes out as wrinkle free as you can get for the particular type of fabric. It doesn't get too hot for the fabrics I have used. I have used dry cleaning kits in their for wool sweaters, coats and other non washable items. I've never had any problems with the dryer in this area either. Wonderful! I would highly recommend this dryer to my friends and family.

Our Kenmore 400 5.9 cu ft. Capacity Electric Dryer is wonderful. It dries our cloths the first time around. Instead of having to restart it again after the first round. It runs quiet. It also does not use alot of electricity. I would recomend it to anyone. It will last a long time.

After our experience with our New (when purchased) GE washing machine, we decided that when we needed a new dryer, we were going back to Sears. We purchased the Kenmore 400 series dryer a few months back and we love it. Our other dryer was also a kenmore but was over 22 years old. It was old and taking longer to dry things, you also worry about older units being a fire hazard. So we decided to purchase a new one. Oh what a great decision. It dries the clothes in have the time. My wife has a bad habit of washing to big a loads, but the dryer can handle it. It has an extra large compacity drum that in one word is AWESOME! It runs extra quiet, you don't even know that its on until the buzzer goes off, letting you know the load is done. And for some reason you don't have to use fabric sheets with it all the time, because it doesn't seem to produce static cling. That's the strangest thing I've ever seen. We are so pleased with our dryer that there are really not enough...

With my husband being so sick I need all the help I can get. When the washer went down, Sears came to the rescue with my Kenmore 400 Washing Machine. My son-in-law installed it and I went straight to work with it. My daughter came in and said," Mom your dryer is a piece."

I was really upset with her I have been using this old Kenmore for 18 years and that battered look was well earned. So it took a long time to dry and the clothes were wrinkled, I mean I still know how to iron.

Not good enough for her. She came in about an hour later waggling a brand new Kenmore 400 Clothes Dryer with her, of course her sweet hubby obliged by kicking out the old and in with the new, and am I so very happy now.

It is amazing how much time this Kenmore 400 Dryer has saved me. The blouses can be hung and the iron is in danger. Drying time is half or less than the old one I can just image how much lower my electric bill will be with this efficient model at work.

Oh, I forgot to mention this Kenmore...
