My birds have always, always loved millet. It is hard to find a birdseed with lots of millet in it, which my bird prefers over any other seed. We get him millet spray and attach it to the side of the cage so he has lots of the millet that he loves so much, as well as the other seed that he has from his regular feeding. I think keeping your bird healthy and happy is important for a healthy and happy relationship between bird and ownder. The price for the millet spray is awesome as well, it is not expensive at all....

The only thing about it is that it's very messy and when they flap their wings all over the place it scatters even more but outside of that it's a good product I highly recommend.</p>...

I rescued a cockatiel from the woods near my home some years ago. I asume that she escaped from her previous owner and would have no doubt soon perished if I had not stumbled upon her and took her home with me. I soon discovered that she was a VERY picky eater and I had quite atime finding suitable food for her that she would eat. I bought some of this spray millet and hung it in her cage. Soon she was working away at it and seemed to be having quite a time enjoying not only the food itself but the activity that it gave her to replace some of the boredome of being caged all day long....

I hang several a day - some whole ones on top by perch then break some in about 4 inch pieces with the ends exposed about 2 inches and put through the cage bars near floor of cage she is content to chew on them constantly. She is very spoiled for them and if finishes them screams for more (Love Birds scream very loudly if they want your attention (as small as they are) They also are very affectionate and love to be petted but they do bite so keep yourh ands away from their beaks....

I have found this treat is a delicatessie for birds, All birds love it. I only had this treat only in their cage only thinkiking it was their food. If you don't watch it birds will only consume this treat. They love it. Yes it can be messy but what i learned to do is, buy a large bowl for your birds and cut the treat up and put it in a bowl and you don't have to worry about it being all outside of their cage. You can find treat holders, but myself, I would rather place their treat in a bowl....

This stuff will be all over the place, and the seeds are too small to pick up with anything but a high powered vaccuum. The birds will eat it all immediately. I sometimes worry that the leftover stick could poke them in the eye. I once got a bird that flew away to fly back onto the cage by bringing the cage outside and putting millet on it....

They both get excited when they see me getting it out! When I give them this millet spray as a treat they react almost like a child does when you give them candy or cookies!...

I like to give my bird millet and she eats it like it is candy. She can't get enough of it! I'm sure this product would be good for birds of all types, but my bird is a cockatiel. You shouldn't feed your bird a diet of seed alone though, and millet can not be used in place of food. Millet should be used as a treat and given occasionally....
