The movie Juno was a disappointment to me. I was pleased and surprised when my husband rented it and then kept waiting for the plot and movie to get better. I guess I just didn't get the premise.

This movie was a pleasant surprise. It was adorable. You had some many emotions from watching the film but in the end it was a feel good movie! Everyone should see Juno! The characters made you feel emotions for them. The buy from arrested development was a great cast choice. Ellen Page was adorable, very witty, quick and believable as this character....

I must say when I saw the previews I did not want to watch this movie. But in exchange for making my girl watch a bloody action flick, I went ahead and watched. It reminded me very much of my own High School days and the character were very real and heart warming.

Juno, the movie, was not what I expected. People have named it one of the best films, and I just saw it for the 1st time and was disgusted. The acting was alright, nothing wrong with it, but the plot and story was really...boring. It was just about two teens who have sex and the girl finds out that she is pregnant. AND THAT'S ALL. I would not recommend watching this waste of time movie....

I saw this while pregnant and got a total kick out of it. It has great, witty, one-liners and a lovable leading lady. It has some wonderful insight into life as a teen is a really fun indie film for comedy lovers....

The comedy in Juno was some of the most unexpected. Great one liners and an awsome cast. When I watched Juno I thought "Wow, this is exactly how teenagers act." It was all very real and very true. Juno's parents in the movie handled the situation the way alot of parents are handling it in real life. Great movie and I recommend it to anyone.

Bottom-Line: In the end-game Juno is entertaining, but scratch below the surface and you will see a movie that none too realistic, at least in this America.

What can be said about Canadian actress Ellen Page within the paragraph's of this review that have not already been said by countless silver-screen reviewers before me. She is a wonder, a lithe woman trapped in a girl's body, but she owns the screen in every movie I have had the privilege of seeing her perform in. Such is the case with last year idiosyncratic movie that everyone seems to love Juno about a teenage girl, a baby in her belly, her reluctantly supportive parents, the couple who want to adopt the baby (sort of), and the unassuming boyfriend whom she loves, but is quick to deny it.

Much too has been made of the writer of this little movie (Juno) that could: Diablo Cody, an exotic dancer, now darling of the Hollywood movie scene. Ms. Cody proves once again that we humans are not the sum total of our jobs,...

In my opinion Juno is one of the best movies i have seen in quite a while. The one liners in this film were hilarious to me and my husband, but it was also a heartwarming story about a teenage girl going through pregnancy and the choice of giving the baby up for adoption to a caring family. I would recommend this to most adults although it would not be appropriate for children....

"Juno" was one of those movies that caught me off-guard. Styled as a kind-of Sundance Festival-type film, I almost cringe when I say that it's a "cute" movie. It's not a chick-flick by any means; it caters to both men and women. It's a sort-of smart-ass, gritty, but cute, likeable film about the precociousness of adolescents and the adult messes they can get themselves into. Its witty script was definitely the success of this production. The young actress playing Juno is a very good actress, and I think the rest of the cast was really good. I wouldn't mind seeing this movie again. It made me laugh and made me wistful. And Jason Bateman was an added plus. (I have enjoyed seeing his renewed acting career in several good recent movies, like "The Kingdom".) Overall, this movie is a good pick for the intelligent movie buff who appreciates the sarcastic banter in the dialogue with a dose of reality....

I was prepared to not like this movie simply because I had heard too much about it beforehand. Quirky is the adjective most often used to describe the movie, and I was afraid it would be much too cute for my tastes. After finally caving in to watch Juno, I found that while I didn't love it, I did understand and appreciate what all the fuss was about.

Juno is the title character played by Ellen Page with an authenticity and depth not often witnessed by such a young actress. Page also shares the limelight with the sharp-witted dialogue written by Diablo Cody (who won an Academy Award for her efforts). No matter how small the role, each character in the movie brings their A game. There is not a false note by anyone; this is a truly ensemble effort. Even the offbeat soundtrack and creative direction share equal billing with the actors.

My biggest problem with the story was that it did begin to beat me over the head with its unrelenting quirkiness. Who among us has constant sarcastic-tinged...

I've been wanting to see this film. When my 13 year old daughter, who is participating in a leadership program sponsored by our city, told me she was going to watch this, I knew it was time rent the dvd. My daughter and I watched it together.

Basically it's about a teen who has sex in a chair with her friend one afternoon and now finds herself pregnant. Watching this with my daughter, we were both a little uncomfortable with this sceen. Once Juno confirms she's pregnant, she makes several difficult and mature choices.

The movie is very quirky and quite funny. However, I feel it's an adult movie, and not a good choice for young teens.

pretty good movie not as funny as i thought it would be its good to watch with friends its pretty random thats why its good and the music is the weirdest ive ever heard but its kute.and the acting especilally from ellen paige was amazing i recomending watching this movie...
