JoSchmonthego says "OOO doggies, it is smooth and good cold or warm" about Julius Echter Hefe- Weiss Premium

Warm you say? Who in their right mind drinks warm Beer? Well, hello, half the world does. I like some beers warm, some cold. Generally the rule is, made in the US, make it cold, made somewhere else? Try it luke warm. I find that chilling a nice full bodied beer makes the taste go, bye-bye. But try and drink budweiser warm. YUCK! I tend to like my beers with flavor and a few little floaties on the bottom, my husband calls them the "in brew snack". I tend to avoid them. But hey, to each his own.

This beer made me think of Germany and all the fun times I had there drinking from das boot, and how many rounds I had to buy cause I just couldnt keep from making it bubble! Hefe weissen was my drink of choice but on a cold winter day there was nothing better then a thick, full-a-floaties dunkle weisse. (dark beer)

So, for anyone who likes flavor, needs a beer with a headier taste that is still smooth and generally floaty free, this is the beer for you!...And me, if you are buyin just give me...
...

AWESOMEMOM88 says "From the country that basically made beer or should I say Bier?" about Julius Echter Hefe- Weiss Premium

Luckily for me, our local liquor store lets you put together your own assorted six and twelve packs of beer from around the world....and the Germans have this stuff down. This particular beer is what I would call crisp-and while the Germans would have my head for this, it is best served frosty cold....(Germans have a habit of drinking their bier at room temperature) In fact, my husband threw one in the freezer and almost forgot about it, but it made one heck of a beer slushy, which was quite welcome after working in the yard. This beer has rapidly become one of my favorites, and the brewery has other offerings that I am more than willing to try based upon this experience. Prices vary around the country, I am sure, but I am paying less than $1.75 per bottle, and if you go to the local pub, you will pay a heck of alot more for domestic swill on tap....It is light in taste without a heavy aftertaste, and I don't burp it back all evening. However, this isn't a light beer on calories......

Bryan-Carey says "German Brewers Know How to Make a Tasty Hefeweizen " about Julius Echter Hefe- Weiss Premium

It took some time this year for the weather to warm up but now that August is here, the temperatures have been steadily rising. It is during these hotter times of the year that many people turn to lighter beers for refreshment. One beer that is a little lighter than what I normally drink but certainly more flavorful than standard light beers is Julius Echter Hefe- Weiss Premium, a product from Germany.

Beer Commentary:

This beer looks very nice from the start, pouring to a golden/tan color with a somewhat cloudy body. The head of foam is comprised of tiny, tightly packed bubbles, giving the beer a creamy consistency. The aroma of this beer is very yeasty and a little biscuit- like.

This beer offers a taste that is very typical of other German hefeweizen products. The flavor is pronounced by yeast, but there is also some wheat flavor, a little clove, and a dash of fruit- a combination of banana and lemon. There are some herbal hops in the finish, but the taste remains dominated by yeast......
