I wanted to try this lotion because everybody wants to "melt away stress." I was thinking it would live up to the name that it has - Johnson's Softlotion Melt Away Stress. It didn't do anything different for me than any other lotion. I was very disappointed in this product. I was hoping it would cause me to relax. It did keep my skin feeling silky smooth. It kept my skin moisturized, but so does many other lotions that are on the market. It also has a weird fragrance. It's a fragrance that I wouldn't consider pleasant. This lotion is just like every other lotion in my opinion minus the weird fragrance.

Overall, it feels great, keeps your skin silky smooth, locks in moisture; but it doesn't relax you like the name implies. It's like every other lotion that is on the market. Don't look forward to the name of the lotion, Melt Away Stress, like I did. You will just be disappointed in the product.

I rarely go out and buy lotion for myself, mostly because I have a huge collection built up from gifts over time. However, every so often I want to try something new. I found New Johnson's Melt Away Stress Dreamy Night Lotion a few months ago and it became my most used lotion! For around $6, I got a bottle of lotion that is still lasting me after a couple of months.

As a lotion: Johnson's SoftLotion works great as a lotion. It comes out thick but even so I don't need much of it because it spreads well. It keeps my skin soft and smooth whenever it feels dry.

As a stress reliever: The Aromasoothe claims it will "quiet your senses" and I think it works great. It's a really subtle scent, with just a bit of lavender, that does help me relax before bed.

As a muscle relaxer: I began really using this lotion after a long workout in which my calves and arms really hurt! The lotion says it will "melt away daily musce tension" and it does that very well. It doesn't get rid of the pain of achy...

I recently bought a trial size of Johnson's Softlotion Melt Away Stress Body Lotion. I figured I give it a try. They have several other kinds in this line. I chose this one because it said "melt away stress and Lavendar" in it. I love the scent of Lavendar.

True to their word, this lotion was fast absorbing and was not greasy feeling, which I can't stand and many lotions tend to do. Or else they will leave a tacky residue feeling too. I noticed also that the scent of Lavendar was also very light, as stated (exclusive AROMASOOTHE -trademarked), and not over powering. The product also has chamomile in it which should be noted and traditionally is known for it's calming property's.

I can say that I did find myself calmed and relaxed, and my skin was definitely moisturized. Since my sking is overly dry, I needed to reapply it before the 24 hours were up so your mileage may vary on that claim. It comes in a purplr bottle. I will be buying another normal size!

Like me, I think most America's have come to associate Johnson & Johnson products with top notch status. Especially, the baby care line (which I happen to love using on myself) but their new adult care products are not so great. I was highly disappointed with this purchase. I actually bought two of the same scents at one time because I needed to restock my lotions and I figured that this particular scent would be fool proof. I was so so so so wrong. When you think of familiar fragrances, you have an idea of what it will smell like. Some how Johnson and Johnson got it all wrong and I think I was more stressed than before I put it on. It doesn't smell good nor does it feel good. I didn't feel moisturized and smooth or silky. I even decided to wait for the first application to full sink in and then re-apply. NOPE! Nothing changed. It's thin and watery feeling and the scent is horrible! I love lavendar...I love aromatherapy all together so how in the world did they miss the mark on THIS? And...

the lotion is great takes everything away and makes stress like disappear and things just seem to be calm and relaxing. i would tell everyone to by this product cause its wonderfu.

Johnson's Lotion Melt Away Stress Body Lotion was more than I had anticipated it would be. My baby sometimes can not sleep and I try to keep lavender around to help relax her. After her bath I put on this lotion and she slowly relaxes and lets sleep overcome her. It not only work for her but for the entire family. My husband, son and daughters use it and they don't care that it suppose to be for the baby because it keep their skin soft and helps us all bring a great relaxing end to the day. I can honestly say we feel better and sleep better because of it. another item made by JOhnson's that can help me save money by letting us all use it instead of having the endless bottle on the shelf in the bathroom. Keep making it.....

the johnson's softlotion melt away stress body lotion is so wonderful!!!!!!!!! it left my body feeling so soft and so silky smooth. and it also has a great scent to it that lasts and does not fade off. my boyfriend even likes this lotion because he said it smells wonderful and it leaves me soft all over. the johnson's softlotion melt away stress body lotion does actually help you relax when you are applying it. i love to smell the great scent of this lotion when putting it on, it makes me want to just carry the bottle with me everywhere. i absolutely love it!!!!

I don't like perfumey lotions; I also have dry skin so I need a good lotion. I rarely try new cosmetics, but for some reason, I smelled Johnson's Softlotion Melt Away Stress Body Lotion and I had to try it! I could tell there was a hint of lavender. I was so pleased at how the lotion was absorbed and was not greasy. I love how the lotion works to keep my skin smooth and moisturized. Also, the scent is so relaxing! Try it - you will be glad you did!...

I bought Johnson's Calming Lotion on a whim, attempting to locate a lotion that was affective yet affordable. The lavender and chamomile scent immediately invades the senses and relaxes the mind and body. It lasts the entire day, leaving your skin smooth and soft, although I'd recommend softly rubbing it into your skin after a soothing bath....

I recieved a coupon for Johnson's softlotion.I had used Johnson's products on my children,but had never tried thier adult products.I chose the 24 hour moisturizing lotion.It became my favorite body lotion from the first use.It is lightly rose scented,very creamy and smooth,but is not greasy and it aborbs into my skin quickly.The best thing is that it does last all day.My skin is softer,smoother and I have not had any dry,itchy,winter skin.I use this daily after my shower and absolutely love how my skin feels....

I LOVE this product. I use the softwash then the lotion before i go to bed and it gives me a GREAT nights sleep. My husband loves the lotion because he said it relieves all the days stressed after a long day at work. This is a god send and I hope it stays on the market for a LONG time. I am willing to pay for quality and this product is worth it....

I have shyed away from the Johnson's brand associating it with the baby lotion I rubbed on my children when they were younger. But I came across the Melt Away Stress Body Lotion and decided to give it a whirl. Now, I am totally addicted to it. I slather it on me every night before bed, and after my showers. This lotion has a wonderful, relaxing scent (chamomile and lavender), but nothing overpowering at all. Not to mention, it works great on my dry skin (something needed as the cold weather approaches) without leaving me with a greasy feeling. Absolutely LOVE this product!
