A friend recommend this product to me and we have not looked back since. Before we would use the all over wash with a loofa but after trying the soap buddies it is the economic route. You can always usually find these on sale and stock up on them. They last forever. I still have over half a bar left and have been using it for almost a month. That goes along way when you have a two year old.

The bar has a a scrubing fabric on the outside that makes it easy to use and it will not slip out of little hands. It smells pretty good too. My only complaint is that with childrens skin it does leave that bar soap grimy touch to them but if you lotion them up regularly this does not seem to be a problem. I would not recommend this for kids who have sensitive skin.

My son loves the bright neon color which makes finding in water easy. This soap gets an A from me and I would recommend to any mother.
...

Joe1019 says "Good for the first time " about Johnson's Buddies

We just brought this with us on vacation as a "treat" for our daughter. First of all, it was super cheap at Target, and my wife who is coupon-crazed, had a coupon and it was ultimately FREE. It is a bar of soap wrapped in a cloth or mesh. It was so easy for our daughter to hold. She is at that age now where she wants to touch and hold everything. Therefore, she was able to wash many of her body parts. Also, because of the cloth, the soap does not run off the bar easily creating soap scum like most bars of soap. So, it is protected even if it drops on the floor. Also, this bar of soap smells so good, almost like the cucumber melon stuff from Bath and Body Works. This lasts a long time, so compared with the price, it is well worth it. It lasts all the way down to the last bit, because of the mesh. We have stockpiled it because of this. Our daughter loves to play with it, almost like having a friend in the tub!
...

I bought these buddy bars for my 2.5 yr old because he is becoming more independent. The product claims to last longer than regular soap because of the grip cover. My son loves this soap and one bar last him over a month and he likes his baths.
...

My son is not coordinated enough to rub the soap bar on the washcloth and then wash his body with the washcloth. Johnson's Buddies eliminated the need to do that. He grips it easily (no slippery problems with the mesh cover) and washes his body directly.

This also solved our problem with my son emptying full bottles of body wash into the tub water when I turn my back. That was becoming quite costly and very frustrating.
...

With all the free Johnson Buddies soap you can stock up on. I was eager to try this soap on my kids, I mean, hey, who doesn't love free! At first I was just using it for my kids to wash their hands with at the sink, but then decided to use it for baths too. My six year old had no problem with the soap, in fact she loved how she could wash herself easily without it slipping out of her hands. It was my younger daughter that had the main problems with the soap. It dried her skin out really bad. I don't know if she was allergic to it or if it just wasn't moisturizing enough for her. She does have some slight eczema problems, she is allergic to dairy, but keeping her away from dairy has made her eczema nonexistent. So that can be the issue. She misses using this soap because she was capable of washing herself easily with it, and sees how much fun her older sister has when using it, but it is just not worth the dry itchy skin. It has a great watermelon scent to it that my kids love. Very...
...

We got a coupon one time to try the Johnson buddies soaps for free and it was the greatest investment Johnson has made because we are repeat customers. The entire time my daughter was growing up we used baby johnson items and were glad to continue using them throughout toddlerhood and after but it was nice to see that they were coming up with a product for the other child. These are great soaps and they lather well, they smell awesome they are easy for kids to hold onto and they make them affordable for parents of one or twelve children to be able to buy them.

My daugher used hers when we traveled this year to Florida, Maryland, New Jersey and even sleepovers because they are so easy to pop in a tote and carry along. You dont' have to worry about having an extra washcloth or squeegie ball along for washing the entire kit is the soap and a nice mesh overlay for easy cleaning and scrubbing.

I would recommend these to any parent to try at least once, you will be hooked.
...

Hello, I am a mom with two children, four and two. They absolutely love this product. For some reason they find bars of soap so facinating, but they just cant seem to keep ahold of them, this product from johnsons solves this issue. My four year old son seems to like the fact that its "just like dads" very much. I like that he can use it himself. It smells good, like most johnsons products, and lasts a long time also. I ve seen it being sold just about everywhere johnsons is wal-mart, target, etc. and its only about three dollars. Both my son and daughter have been diagnosed with excema and this soap doesnt seem to bother them in the slightest. Even the sensitive skin baby wash did, so this one gets five stars in my book, i will continue to buy it as long as they have it, stocking up is always a good idea because johnsons has a history of cancelling my favorite products, maybe im just bad luck, so if you like it i suggest you buy extra!
...

I was using body wash for my daughter, then when she grew old enough to clean herself, she was having trouble with the body wash, even the foaming. So i decided to try johnson buddie bars. Best money i ever spent on bath products. The bar is so easy for her told, and wash herself. Which she loves being a big girl washing herself. Its small, but one bar lasts a long time. Which is great espically at the price. It smells great. Doesn't take much water to get it wet, and it rinses easily. I wish they sold them in bigger packs, instead of single bars. I also wish they would make other colors and scents. My daughter isn't found of the color green, but until they put out another color, she will have to like it. I have always loved johnsons products, but i have to say that the buddies bars are by far the best product they have put out. Espically when they put coupons out for them, to get them even cheaper. I have stocked up. So i highly recommend this product, for anyone with small independent...
...

I bought this for my children several months ago. My main reason at first was a 5 year old who likes to dump his liquid wash in the tub. Now it's all he will use, he loves to vroom it around like a car. We love the fruilty scent, easy grip and size for small hands. I gave a bar to my SIL who has a 12 year old autistic daughter. She had a hard time getting her to wash until the Johnson's Buddies bar. SIL said now she loves to lather up and sing in the tub. It's a little pricey, around $1.20, but I usually have coupons to use. Oh, I also like the fact that the soap doesn't leave a residue behind in the tub, makes cleaning so much easier....

My kids love Johnson's Buddies bar soap. They love to clean themselves up with it. They really like the smell and they like that they can hold onto it easier. The bar doesn't slip out of their hands as easily as other bars of soap. I love that they do clean themselves up. I also love that even though the bar of soap ends up sitting in the tub with them through most of their tubby that it seems to last a very long time. I think my kids smell great when they get out of the tub after cleaning up with Johnson's Buddies soap. My son has eczema and dry skin problems. This soap doesn't seem to dry his skin out. It actually seems to moisurize as it cleans his sensitive skin. It rinses off very thoroughly....

It does seem a bit over-priced. But if you think about, you know that little piece of soap that is too small to hold and too annoying too use that you end up just chucking it or leaving it in the soap dispenser to grow into mildew and sticky grossness as you open up a new box of soap, well, I am estimating that if you added all those bar leftovers together, you would probably end up with more than one bar of soap anyway. Right? Or the bar soaps that our children waste due to pure enjoyment which then accidentally slip at the bottom of the tub and disentagrate, leaving only a marble of soap left to be found after a 30 minute bath - anyways, my point is, Johnson's Buddies bar doesn't do this. In fact, you can use the soft loofah like cover until it soaps no more, using every single ounce of soap product that was present in the box that you bought it in. It floats and the lime green also makes it easy to find in a tub full of warm water and easier to hold for the little one's learning......
