i see alot of commercial dusting powder, and i check the ingredients for thier product. some say talc, which is a dangerious chemical. it causes cancer, so i rather make my own based on cornstarch.

http://organic-oil.blogspot.com/2009/06/organic-dusting-bath-powder.html

it is pretty easy to make, and the recipe is simple. no Talc. no chemicals. no toxins. organic.
...

As a small child, I used to remember my mother always using Johnson & Johnson products on us girls, the lotions, the oils, the powders, ooh the powders. I'll never forgot thought smells, they were always the best, so fresh and clean. Then I became a mom myself and I wouldn't ever think of using anything else, My daughter used to giggle when I used to put the powder on her, it always felt so good on her skin and smelled so clean and fresh. My father always said "if its not broke, don't fix it", well just when you think that things can't get better, Johnson & Johnson comes out with Lavender & Chamomile Powder, I'm now a nana and my daughter now uses all Johnson & Johnson baby products, at her baby shower she received a few other products as gifts, but never used them, instead she knew a girl at work that was pregnant and gave all that stuff to her. She told me that nothing but the best was good enough for her when she was growing up and now that she's a mom, nothing but the best is...
...

On a very hot night in our area, I had purchased Johnson & Johnson Lavender Baby Powder which I applied all over. The next morning I woke with a red, burning, bumpy rash around each armpit. No other place was affected. There is a possibly there was some residual deodorant but the rash wasn't at the center. After two days the rash no longer burns but it still there. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
...

Love this product. My husband and I get the lotion of lavender and chamomile and we love it. WE have found that it is easier to get our very hard to put to sleep son. Our son loves to fight sleep but we give him a bath a night, rub some of this lotion on him and it seems like instantly he is falling asleep.
...

New Bedtime Baby Powder. The powder as alway super. The new packaging top is dangerous, clouds of powder go everywhere, you can no longer control the spray. If you have an old top it fits and works fine. One other thing to note is that the bottle now contains 25 grams less than before, the price hasn't changed though, naughtie!!! The powder is good though. I hope they change the top back soon. It looks like they are penny pinching. I have to say I won't be using it on my 10 month old when my old top wears out, unless they sort it out....

This product has a relaxing calming lavender scent that is yes enticing to most. Though if you look on the back the chemicals are also commonly known agents to use for cleaning around the house. Do you really want that on your skin or your baby's skin? Probably not, be sure to check out the ingredients before you buy any of the Johnson and Johnson products as you will see way too often you can not read or actually pronounce the ingredients.
...

I love using baby powder, especially to use on my skin after shaving, especially for my underarms. I feel that it eases the redness and bumps and makes the skin even softer and smoother. This baby powder is exactly what you get with normal baby powder, but with the soothing scent of lavender. If you like the scent of lavender, then this is absolutely the baby powder for you! I'm always into trying new things, and this is one thing I found to be a keeper. It smells lovely!!! Easy to find at most stores, such as Target or Walmart, and it is not an expensive product....
