My dogs, Barkler and Mrs. Sweetie ran into a big pile of red ants in my yard. I didn't know the ants were out there because I am elderly and live alone on a fixed income. Their poor faces and legs got all swelled up because of the bites and I didn't know what to do. I was so worried.

I called my friends at Bartow Animal Care Hospital and Dwayne (the owner) assured me that everything would be OK and that I needed to bring them in so that Dr. Cash could check them over and be sure that everything would be fine. He was the kindest veterinarian that I ever had the pleasure of witnessing. He is knowledgeable and knew right away what to do with all those ant bites. He gave them some antibiotics and a shot and they walked out of there as happy as the day I took them home with me when they were pups.

The people at Bartow Animal Care Hospital are all experts and a group of some of the most compassionate people I have ever seen. They took care of my babies and it didn't cost me much...

Dr. Cash is a great vet. I have 20 cats and he has treated them all. Everyone at the clinic is great! Bartow Animal Care Clinic has been my vet for over twenty years, and Dr. Cash, since he has been there. He is very gentle with the cats and genuinely seems to care about them. When he has had to put some of my sick kitties down, he has been very compassionate and gentle with them. I really appreciate him and the staff at Bartow Animal Care Hospital. They are always very helpful.

This is by far the best Animal Hospital around this area! Dr. Cash and his staff have taken care of our pets for a long time. They are the most compassionate people we have ever met! They have quality services at low prices. Our pets love to visit this clinic!...

Bartow Animal Care Hospital is by far the best Veterinary clinic in Polk County! The doctor and staff are the most pleasant and professional people you will ever meet. They will go out of their way to take care of you and your pet. Their prices are the lowest we could find in the area, but the services were wonderful. Dr. Jason Cash is a very nice veterinarian and takes his time with every pet owner. Michelle is a very kind and caring person who takes great care of our pets. Debbie is the Vet, Tech who will get down on the floor with our dogs and has them eating out of her hands. Our pets always are happy to go there and wagging their tails everytime they see this staff of wonderful people. We strongly urge everyone to try them. They are terrific!!...

I called to get my dog's cherry eye fixed. The staff at Bartow Animal Care Hospital was very professional and thorough. Dr. Cash had extensive knowledge on how to perform surgery on my dog's eye. He didn't try to charge extra unnecessary fees that other clinics charge. He has performed two other surgeries - neutering and umbilical hernia and my precious dog is doing wonderful. Dr. Cash shows alot of patience and compassion when dealing with animals. I would recommend Dr. Cash to everyone who wants an experienced vet. I drive over 30 miles - one way - to see Dr. Cash because he is the BEST!!

I am writing this review to help you save your animal from the hands of this vet. This so called veterinarian gave a sick animal a rabies shot. At the time I did not know that you were not to give a sick animal any vaccines. My cat had cancer. He gave her the shot and 3 days later she couldnt walk. She died a few days later. I was told by the animal control shelter he should not have given her the shot and that he should have known better as they excuse animals from rabies shot when they are sick. Oh I know you all thinking well she had cancer...but that is not what killed her. It was the shot. Also I want to warn you that this place is owned by Dwaine Smith. He is the office manager and he is always charging you extra on food. I dont know how many times I have caught him charging me the price on food. I have also been charged for services I did not recieve. He cant keep a vet there long. They quit after about a year or so. He has had so many different vets there you cant keep up. I finally...
