I was first introduced to the idea of juicing in 2006 but did not get my juicer until 2008. It was easy to set-up and get started. A guide and recipe book came with the juicer but I decided to play with my own recipes. The first thing I tried was making my own apple juice. It was out of this world. I placed it in an air tight glass jar and it lasted for a week in the fridge.

Everything is dishwasher safe and the assembly and tear down was easy. Everything is holding up nicely except the strainer has started to rust but I found out that I can get replacement parts that are relatively inexpensive.

I would reccomend this product for anyone who likes fresh juice, cares abot their health, and like watching the juicing process. Children need to be supervised while usong the juicer but can participate in the process.

sezzame says "The Jack Lalanne Power Juicer has truly brought me into juicing" about Jack Lalanne jack lalanne's power juicer

Two Christmas's ago, I saw an ad for the Jack Lalanne power juicer in a discount store and I freaked because I thought they could only be purchased on-line. We quickly went to the store and picked it up for $100. The stainless steel one was a lot more. We brought it home washed it down after picking up some fruits and vegetables at the store. We read the do's and dont's of the manual. It's a good thing we did not purchase bananas because the manual says the machine cannot juice them and it is better to add them after you create your juice. Reading on we found out it is best to peel our oranges and grapefruit because even though they will go through the machine, they can leave a bitter aftertaste. So we peeled our oranges and grapefruit. And eventhough it takes an apple with the peel the stem should be removed. I just had to wash my vegetables. We were able to get 2 cups of juice with just 2 grape fruits, wow! It took 4 oranges to do the same and 5 apples for the same...
...

The easy to juice juicer JACK LALANNE POWER JUICER. I've watched this on TV so many times. I wanted this juicer for a long time, at least for the past six years. So, about three years ago it was purchased for me as a christmas gift. I had purchased different juicers in the past and they absolutely did not have the capacity that this juicer has. Juicing has become really easy. I juice apples, pineapples, mangoes, grapes, carrots, oranges, strawberries, cantaloupe, honey dew melons, watermelon, cabbage, wheat grass and an assorted variey of fruits and vegetables. I use my juice to make fruit smoothies and protein shakes. This juicer comes with a variety of delicious recipes. You can put a whole piece of fruit inside this juicer and use the pulp to make smoothies and great healthy muffins and bundt cakes too. This an easy to clean up product. This is a dishwasher safe product. It is guaranteed that you will love this product. JUICE, JUICE AND MORE JUICE. HEALTHY LIFE. ...
...

unhappycustomrgrr says "horrible experience! dont waste your money on this BS!" about Jack Lalanne jack lalanne's power juicer

Hello all,
I've purchased my power juicer pro & spent over $250 for all the hoopla. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service these people provide. the reps r not trained well & are very rude & will not reslove ur query. No supervisor will treat you better either. Keep waiting for their calls & months will pass.

Do not purchase any warranty cause its a waste of your money. Unless you intend to follow the recipies, don't spend your hard earned money on that either.

I am so exhausted waiting on these people. I have prepared a draft to send to BBB, they will hear from them very soon!

I have learnt from this & am never going to trust any infomercials that I watch on TV ever. Might as well go to Jambha juice & drink what is real!
...

hamiam says "The Jack Lalanne is superior to other juicers on the market." about Jack Lalanne jack lalanne's power juicer

After seeing countless infomercials for the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer, and having a smaller juicer we were not happy with, we were lucky enough to receive one as a wedding gift! There are many things it does better than other home juicers I have used. I can tell by the dryness of the pulp that it does do a better job at extracting the available juice, even from drier vegetables like carrots. It also has a very large opening so you can put whole fruits in like schoolboy-sized apples without chopping, although for larger-sized fruits you will need to halve or quarter. It does work better with a small amount of chopping, for example a long carrot will work better in 3 segments instead of one long one. Overall it is very versatile and I think a larger opening would have caused problems with the fruit & veggies bouncing around too much. It also had no problems efficiently extracting juice from softer fruits like grapes and oranges, whereas other juicers I have used had a lot of waste...
...

crotnem says "I absolutely love juicing with the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer. " about Jack Lalanne jack lalanne's power juicer

When I saw the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer infomerial, I watch with enthusiam. I was thinking of getting a juicer, but really wasn't sure which one...with the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer, it takes all the thinking out of doing this! It is so easy to use that I'm juicing practically daily. The juice is really tasty too! The clean up is also such a breeze. I need something to make my life easier and I'm to tell you this machine does the trick! I also love the idea that you can put the whole fruit/veggie into the shoot to be juiced, as long as it fits.

The how to's in the instrucions make it all come together so nicely. If you want fruits that are soft you just juice them first then go on to your firmer, more hard fruits. EI: grapes, then apples, strawberries then carrots so on and so on.

I am so happy I just happened to be flipping the channels one day and saw this great machine, I don't think I would be any happier if I didn't have it. It has made eating more fruits and veggies...
...

Goldylocks says "Jack Lalanne's Power Juicer is not as advertisied on TV" about Jack Lalanne jack lalanne's power juicer

After watching numerous advertisement's for the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer showing how easy it was to clean the appliance, how much juice you would get as opposed to other juicers, and how you could put a whole apple or like size fruit into the opening, I finally ordered one. I had wanted a juicer for a really long time and although this one is rather pricey, it seemed to be the perfect one. I mean after watching Jack and Elaine demonstrat it time and time again on those infomercials, I almost came to beleive it could not only juice the fruit but produce the fruit for you. I received the juicer, bought my fruit and began what I thought was going to be a great juice drinking experience. I had to slice my apples into several pieces, when I put them into the opening some of the pieces flew into the air onto the counter and floor. I did not get nearly the amount of juice as advertised on TV. I got alot of pulp! And the clean up is alot more messy and time consuming than indicated on...
...
