Made the purchase to video my kids graduation. I had used the camcorder approximately 4 times to learn how things worked. Recorded son's graduation and only had one minute of video before the picture went black but still recorded the sound. Sent the unit to JVC repair to have it fixed. The first time I got it back nothing worked so called them to return it again. Got it back the second time telling me a sensor had been replaced, but half the features were still not working. Sent it back a third time and everything worked great until the battery ran down before finding out it would not recharge the battery, but worked find as long as it stays plugged into the wall or you purchase a battery charger from radio shack or wlmart for $20. Requested they replace the unit the third time it was sent back with no results. So it sets on the shelf as a paper weight....

I just recently purchased a jvc camcorder maybe not the exact same one listed above, but the camcorder itself is aneat little gadget. I yet have a ways to go as far as operating the camcorder, but overall rating it is good....

I simply love this camcorder! I use it for everything. Its compact and easy to store during traveling. Its very user friendly, my 11 year old can use and handle it with no problems. The battery life is excellent. This is a must have. I recommend this to everyone. Anyone who purchase this camcorder will not be disappointed. Its simply AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I was very excited to finally get a camcorder. It was so pretty and I could hardly wait to get going. Well I looked at the instruction manual to get started now. It was so complicated that I had to give up and walk away. It took many hours to digest even the simpliest steps to get started. As a result, I have not used it like I thought I would.

A simple, easy to understand for a beginner instruction manual in a must....

I have never owned a JVC product before I bought this JVC Digital Video Camera
and I am very happy with my purchase, it is compact yet full of features. I bought this camera to record my sons wedding and after I transfered the video from the camera to a DVD all my friends thought that I had it made by a professional photographer.

I shopped around before buying this camera and it was the best I could find for the price,
under $300.00 but with all the features of a more expensive digital video camera.
