I've had my JVC Everio Hard Disk Camcorder for two years now. I have enjoyed it and haven't had an issue with the battery life. It's very easy to operate and light weight. However, like another reviewer, I couldn't figure out how to transfer the videos onto the computer. The instructions were vague and I could not figure it out! Finally, after hours of trying to do it myself, I turned to the 800 number and asked for help. The lady I talked to was very helpful and it's so easy, now that I know how to do it. Go to "my computer" and then hit "Everio HDD". That will give you four or five folders. She had me click and drag "SD videos" to my desktop and then double click on it. Why this information couldn't have been included in the instructions, I'll never know, but it isn't.

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I have an issue with it going blury on me while I am recording. It does this for just for a few seconds or two, but continues to do this every about 5...

We were looking for a camera that was MORE than a 32x in zoom capability. Where we 1st saw this item f/sale, it was being sold as a "camera". It actually wasn't until we purchased it that we discovered it was also a camcorder. This thing is absolutely awesome.

The storage is limitless because you can insert your own memory card.

The still taking is wonderful & the camcorder is so easy to use as well. We also find ourselves in a position where we have to take our own fotos & how awesome is it that THIS screen swivels so that we can actually SEE what we're taking a foto of. It's also so easy to take a foto, hook it up to a computer & upload fotos to email or even export to eBay. Done deal ! ! !

You can review & upload/export so easily & direct into YouTube if you like.

The only thing we wish? Is that the store we purchased at, had had the BLUE one in stock . . . other than that? This is one awesome little camera/camcorder.

I purchased this video camera and was pleasantly surprised. The camera works wonderfully. Love that it has a hard drive instead of the tapes. Transfering to the computer to burn to DVD is a breeze.

MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ME THIS JVC EVERIO FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND IT HAS BEEN THE CAMCORDER EVER! IT IS SOOO EASY TO USE. I LOVE NOT HAVE TO RUN OUT TO GET MORE TAPES AND IT IS SO COMPACT AND EASY TO TAKE WHERE EVER I GO. I JUST LOVE IT!!!

I was excited to get this camcorder. It was small and compact. Has harddrive so there are no disks to buy and loose. However, I was disapointed in the picture quality. I get a much better photo from my old 3.2 mg pixle Kodak then I do with this camera. It does seem to take nice video, however, I cant get it off of the camera. After having the camera for 13 months, it will no longer stay on for more then a couple min. If you can get it to stay on that long. I have to batteries for it, and niether one of them work, fully charged or otherwise. One of those very expensive (almost $700.00 when we bought it) peices of equipment that died immediately after the warranty expired. Now we have to send it out to CA to get it fixed...for who knows how much more $$. Very disapointed...dont waste your $$....

I purchased this camcorder to create a video history of my Masonic Lodge. It is palm sized and easy to carry. The flip outscreen is perfect in its clarity.

When attached to a tripod and plugged into the wall you can record for the full 7 hours of space on the hard drive.

Connection to the tv is simple. A simple rca cord with a 2.5mm jack to the camera. Less than 15 seconds to attack to the tv to quickly view what you just recorded.

Also has the ability to take still pictures.
