The JC Penney Rewards Master Card is NOT a JC Penney card, It is really a GE card. The rewards are nothing more than store credit coupons with short expiration dates and lots of strings attached. The service people are nasty and rude if you are actually able to get one on the line. Junk fees are enormous.

I got so mad I mailed the micro confetti remains back to them.

I am very new to this credit card. I have not had to contact customer service as of yet. So far so good. It does have a high interest rate. I use it mainly for sale and clearance items. They are kind of expensive otherwise....

I have had my JC Penney card for many years and have taken advantage of great sale opportunities to buy really nice gifts for my family members. I love the quality and selection available and I have always received prompt, courteous attention from the customer service staff. However, the interest rate being charged is high, and the penalty for a late or missed payment is prohibitive....

Had to call twice and both times got terrible customer service.

The interest rate too high and they don't even try to help you.

Customer service were not professional at all. Matter of fact they did not even answer the telephone professionally.

Would not recommend.
