Iron Man is a very entertaining movie, a must see. I have never been into the comic books, but watching movies made about the comic book heroes I find very entertaining. I enjoyed all three Spiderman movies and hope to see more of Iron Man.

Robert Downey Jr. stars as Tony Stark, a billionaire playboy and genius. A trip to Afghanistan to sell weapons turns into chaos. Instead of building the missile, Stark creates a suit of armor which turns him into Iron Man and allowing him to escape. When he returns to America he is a changed in the man for the good.

I went to watch the Iron Man movie reluctantly; I must admit. My husband wanted to see it - but it just turns out that I found it really intriguing. I would have never thought that a piece of metal would capture my attention the way this movie did. The movie was completely entertaining from the very beginning to the very end of the move. I found the movie to be funny at times and at other times it had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. I felt that all of the actors and actresses fit their roles well and brought alot to the movie. The specail effects were awesome too. I didn't really like the ending all that much. But it does leave it open for a second movie which I hope happens soon. I can't wait to see what will happen next to all of the characters and get to know more about them. Seeing as how you are left with questions about them because there wasn't much character development.

I'm not into all the Marvel comic strip movies that have been coming out, nor am I into the comic strips in general. However, I went with my boyfriend to see this movie with him and I was surprised.

At first, I was really bored because it was moving slow and I had no idea about Iron Man and all his things. However, the movie got better and there was more action going on. There was humor throughout the film which would make you laugh.

The stunts and the visual effects and animations were excellent. The storyline was great and it all seemed real, like it was happening right now. The actors were great, and they couldn't pick another actor to play Tony Stark than Robert Downey, Jr.

If you're into action movie and some humor, spend a night watching Iron Man.

As a comic book fan, I could care less about Tony Stark and the entire Iron Man mythos. But once I heard they were casting Hollywood bad boy and notorious everything-addict Robert Downey Jr. as the main character, the irony couldn't keep me away.
And the movie kept me coming back. Iron Man has more heart and soul than any comic book movie since Christopher Reeves played Superman.

Tony Stark thinks he's working for the forces of good by developing and manufacturing weapons for the United States to use in the War Against Terror. But when he finds out that his products are being supplied to both sides of the conflict, he takes action in the most advanced weapon ever - a metal suit that protects the wearer, has a pinpoint targeting system, and more firepower than a squad of marines.

And oh yeah. It can fly.

Iron Man is a flick about learning how to be the good guy, taking down the bad guy, and getting the girl - almost - along the way. And it's a heck of a lot of fun. Wait through...

Iron Man developed by Sega.

This game was recently released to the PC and I was quite curious to see how the game was. Considering I am a big Marvel fan, I do own a lot of Marvel games.

From what little I've played of this game, it's a big take from the movie. The gameplay itself is not bad at all, it's just like being in the seat of the Iron Man suit, the missions are pretty decent, and flying is easy.

The downfall of the game is the lack of graphics that we have today. This is like Iron Man meets Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

All though the Models itself are not badly made, the maps are pretty square-ish. And there are no advanced scripting in the game for bloom effects which would make this a nice game for older PC's to run. I can run this game at full resolution and graphics and I get a full 60 FPS with no drop at all.

If you're an Iron Man fan, this game, for the PC would fit you just fine. I personally do not attack games based on graphics, I do reviews based on how well the...

When I saw Ironman I was blown away. I knew it was a different kind of superhero movie before I went. Little did I know just what that meant. The plot was brilliant. No special powers, no mutant advantage...just a man who realizes he can make a difference and sets out to do it. He has chosen to be a better man and as he does we all fall in love with him. Comic relief is a sweet surprise in the form of his robot assistant as he learns the ins and outs of the suit he creates. Ironman was a truly awesome movie.

Two things really turn me on to comic book action movies: ungodly amounts of money and flying. They are quite possibly the two most unattainable things in the world but the movies can make them down right palpable. They are also two of the most predicable comic plot lines, but in 2008, "Iron Man" offered a modern twist.
Lee's original Iron Man aka Tony Stark was based on real life industrialist Howard Hughes, who he called "one of the most colorful men of our time." Hughes was an "an inventor, an adventurer, a multi-billionaire, a ladies' man and finally a nutcase," according to Lee. He was also a pioneer of modern aviation and wore a mustache. Against these exaggerated criteria, Robert Downey Jr. as Mr. Stark gave a near flawless performance for a generation who has never heard of Howard Hughes.
Director Jon Favreau adapted Stan Lee's Vietnam Era strip into a politically charged blockbuster, introducing us to Tony Stark in the middle of Afghanistan. While sipping scotch in a humvee, Stark,......

of all the superhero movies that have come along this is one of the better ones. i really like the detail they went into in explaining the birth of the hero. most movie leave this out and takes away from the story . i recommend this movie to all suoerhero fans...

Iron Man, directed by Jon Favreau, was a thoroughly enjoyable summer action movie. This movie rejuvenated the superhero genre with its excellent storytelling, and superb cast. Downey Jr, Howard, Paltrow, Bridges... Each of them played their parts well, and made for an exhilarating flick. The movie did a great job of telling the (slightly modified) backstory of the Iron Man/Tony Stark character. I cannot wait to see where they go with Iron Man 2. (Although I was a bit disappointed to hear they are replacing Terence Howard with Don Cheadle for the role of Rhodey [War Machine!]). This film gets my strong recommendation - buy or rent it soon, on Blu-Ray if possible. The picture and sound are amazing - just turn the bass down a bit, unless you really like to rattle your windows and wake the neighbors!

This is one of the best movies of the year. I had a lot of fun watching it and I can wait to see the next movie, because we all know there will be more of Iron Man..

Wow! I must say that I thought this was going to be one of those movies that I bought for my kids and just suffered through with them. I was totally wrong about this one! Iron Man is action-paced with awesome special effects. It was so entertaining, time just flew by. The story line was well-plotted developing smart, intelligent characters. This is a movie we would choose to watch again on movie night....

I am a huge Spider-Man fan as well as a comic book fan. I read the Iron Man comic but was never really into them; however after seeing this movie I can honestly say Iron Man is truly one of the most under rated super heroes out there. Downey Jr., was the perfect choice for Tony Stark. I will say that Iron Man was better than Spider-Man and that is very tough for me to say considering my loyalty to Spider-Man. See this again and again....
