I know that Iams is now made by Procter and Gamble. I know that is now available in grocery stores and I know there are ingredients that make people shudder, but people if you find a food your dog does well on, then feed it. My dogs have been on Iams for several years. I have fed other brands and the companies continue to change the ingredients or aren't consistant with the ingredients and problems arise. This is the brand I have fed the longest with the fewest problems. If your dog doesnt do well on Iams try something else. I think we do more harm by constantly switching brands on what other people say.

As for PETA ... Does Peta REALLY want to make a difference to inhumane treatment of animals? Then they should take their energy down to the nearest SPCA or Humane Society and offer time, money. food, homes ... all that time and energy spent could go to good use in solving a horrendous problem ithat occurs EVERY DAY in our society....

My 8 year old part Pit part Fiest has been eating Iams dog feed since he was a puppy. He is healthy and full of energy. We have tried other dog feed along the way but the other feed messes up his digestive trac. The only problem we have is keeping our cats out of the dog bowl, they get fed Iams too! It even seems to keep his teeth looking white and clean.

We have a new puppy. My husband purchased Iams for our puppy the day we brought him home. I told him to just get something cheap in case he didn't like the food. Well, he bought Iams. This brand isn't cheap. But our puppy loves it! And it's great because we are potty training him. This food doesn't make gross poop to clean up. Which I really appreciate lol! But most importantly, our baby loves this food. He is very healthy and his coat is shiny. I won't ever buy any other food for our pup.

Alright well I have two dogs and I also have been around and/or fed a lot of dogs. They really don't seem to react any differently to Iams than to anyone other cheap dog food that you get from the dollar store. I am also a huge animal rights activist and the way that the animals are tested on by IAMS is just horrible. That is the man reason that I don't buy any of their dog food. Although it does seem like this food is alot healthier for dogs in comparison to any other food, it's not wuite human grade. It is good that this dog food I can find in practically all stores. Now I love to pamper my pets, but I am most certanly on a tight budget and IAMS is so expensive to buy all of the time and I can't even buy it on occasion because a transition from one type of food or food brand to another causes my dog to get all grumpy and start throwing up and stuff so clearly it makes her sick (switching food I mean). So overall, it's just alright. Nothing fantastic.

IAMS is the only store bought,packaged food I will buy.I trust the brand and my dog,Gracie will eat this.Unlike other dog foods,Gracie is able to tolerate this well.All the other dog foos I have bought and treid from the stores,have played havoc with Gracie's stomach.The IAMS dry is one of the better produced foods,it gives Gracie the vitamins needed as well as a taste she seems to like.

My doggy likes iam In the morning she looks at me then the bowl as if to tell me its time to eat, then she will grab a piese out and throw it and chase it before she eats it. It is so funny and she always eats it at one setting. I like it because she likes it and it is affordable.

My two miniature dachsunds eat IAMs Mini-chunks, and have for the several years. I started with IAMs based on my vet's recommendation and found that feeding IAMS seems to insure more regular stools, a plus for indoor dogs (or any dogs). They also gobble up the mini-chunks and I think they prefer that over larger chunks.

When you have small dogs, it's nice to find a product that caters more to them, both with the small chunks and the ability to buy smaller bags instead of those giant bags!

My girls seem to be very happy eating IAMS and they are both healthy, beautiful dogs!

I tried many dog foods and some of my dogs liked some of them, while other of my dogs did not. I couldn't find a dry food that they all liked until Iams. They love the dry food, the ground food and the biscuits. What more could I ask. My life is so much easier with just one kind of dog food to handle.

Dont believe all the fancy adds you see on tv about Iams any dog food with by products and corn and wheat are horrible for your dogs can not digest corn so it is known to cause allergies and skin issues!! If you feed iams you might as well feed your dog flavored card board...

i have a 5 year old black lab. he eats the iams large breed food and has eaten either it or the puppy food since we've had him. i have tried to switch him before just to see if i could find something else and he has not liked anything else. He loves this food and it keeps him healthy and shiny. i would definately recommend this to anyone with a large breed dog....

We have 2 dogs in our family, both are Iams dogs. One has been on Iams for fourteen years, and always in great health, still active and fun. Our new addition is just 2 and shes an Iams girl too. We have always been pleased with Iams. Both of our dogs are in great health.

Fourteen years ago when we started buying Iams it was harder to find, we would have to go to a pet specialty store. Now you can get Iams in many more stores. That's a real blessing with gas prices what they are it's great not to have to drive out of town to get dog food.

I have a lil wiener dog and I only feed her Iam dog food. It makes her coat and teeth healthy, and her breath dont smell bad like most dogs. Her bowl movements are firm and never smell bad. My vet. recommended this brand when we first got Casey, and she has ate it ever since. She never turns up her nose to Iams dry small bites. She like the small bite best....
