cjtapp says "Excellent, nutritious cat food for all ages." about IAMS Cat food--purple bag

I currently have 2 cats. One (female) is aged 7 years, the other (male) 17 years. This kibble is their basic staple every day. It seems to provide the proper nutrition that both cats need. They remain quite healthy with bright eyes and shiny coats.

Originally I had started feeding my male cat some of the less-expensive brands (Purina, Meow Mix), but the vet and I found that their higher ash content seemed to cause some digestive problems. Once I switched over to Iams, the trouble immediately disappeared. Having used Iams for 17 years, I believe that better nutrituion may have contributed to my older cat's longevity and good health -- he's approximately the equivalent of 86 in human years. My 7-year-old girl has been eating Iams all her life, and her coat is goregous. She has plenty of energy for play. Sometimes it really is worth the extra cost. If your cat is a family member more than just a pet, they deserve the best care and the best food.
...

jennybenny says "Great for multi-cat households!" about IAMS Cat food--purple bag

I have a large (18.5 lbs) and constantly starving male cat and a petite and delicate picky eater female cat. It has always been impossible for me to find a food that is appropriate (and delicious) for both of them. I finally found it and am never buying another! They both love the flavor and can stay at reasonably healthy weights eating it. THeir coats are also very soft and silky. I highly reccomend this product!...

Queen-B says "All my cats have shiny coats and grow to be big healthy cats! " about IAMS Cat food--purple bag

I had two cats that lived to 15 years and at every vet visit, the vet always commented on how big and beautiful my boys were. The vet always told me to continue to do whatever I was doing.

I have adopted 2 male cats who were very ill at 3 weeks old when found by the rescue group. They have eaten Iams foods from the time they could eat (Kitten and cat food.) They are now 3 years old and the vet says the same about these cats. Beautiful shiny coats, bright eyes and very large (not fat!) for their breed!

I will always use Iams cat foods for my cats!
...
