I purchased these because of my memories of watching Lucy. I just love the Lucy shows, and no matter what others are doing, if they pass by the room when I'm watching, they stop and laugh along.

I grew up on I Love Lucy sitcoms and continue to watch it on cable tv. Lucille Richardo is a housewife who is married to Ricky Richardo, a band leader. Their neighbors Fred and Ethel Mertz are their best friends. Lucy wants to go into the show business with her husband; however, she does not have any talent but will try various ways to prove she has talent. She will do studs to perform but it backfires. One of the best episodes is when she is in Europe and she is working in a winery a got into a fight. This is a excellent show with outstanding acting and I plan to continue to watch the show for years to come.

Who doesnt love Lucy. She is and always will be the funniest person who ever was on tv. My favorite I Love Lucy episode is "Lucy Gets In Pictures". Its from the series where the gang went to Los Angeles. Other favorites are "Job Switching" "Lucys Itailian Movie" "Ethels Birthday" "Lucy And The Loving Cup" "Lucy Does A TV Commercial" "Lucys Schedule" "Lucy Tells The Truth" and so many more.

The complete I Love Lucy on DVD is awesome. Every episode in full detail. No commercials to watch. You can sit and watch from the beginning to the end and bring back those good old days. And the packaging is great. Brings back the working in the chocolate factory. I think I have done that a time or two. Things going so fast you have to improvise. Buy iy today and it will last a lifetime....

I LOVE LUCY. I just can't express how happy a box series like this makes me. Its just so amazing to be able to own the classics. I will give this to my grandchildren because the humor of this show is just so timeless. Forget television I have the lucy series. What would the world be without Lucille Ball one of the greatest actresses of all time. I can't wait to view these timeless classics over and over and over again. They'll never get old. I just love the show so much lucy and ethels schemes are trademarks for some of the prank shows today....

     I Love Lucy is one of the all time best comedy series. It is hilarious from beginning to end. The chemisrty between Lucy, Ricky, Fred, and Ethel really works. They seem to play off each other, each one drawing out the best in the other characters.
     One interesting feature of the box set are you can see the original theme introductions. For instance, in Season One, I Love Lucy was sponsered by Phillip Morris. So the introduction includes "Phillip Morris presents" and instead of the black and white heart we are so used to seeing, there are Lucy and Ricky as animated characters. There are also many references to Phillip Morris during the episodes.
   The box set also contains the pilot episode, which I had never seen. The characters are somewhat different, but it is is pretty good.
      One of my favorite thigs about I Love Lucy is that it appeals to everyone. Everyone in the family will enjoy watching it.

I am obsessed with this show. I am 21 years old and was not even around when I Love Lucy became the greatest show EVER, but I have fallen in love with it over and over again since the age of about 15. I love box sets in general. They're just great because you can put in whatever episode you want. I love to throw parties over here and just throw in my favorite episodes because it makes for great laughter and entertainment. Definitely shop around. Box sets are pricey ( i mean come on, all of those episodes in one package?) Search until you find the cheapest price, and enjoy!...
