I very rarely am burdened by long, boring, commercial breaks in programming. We verty rarely watch programs at the time they are playing so you are allowed to speed through TV ads, commercials, etc. Season pass helps one to obtain all episodes of a favorite program. It does decrease your desire to leave the house. It is difficukt to watch all the media that we have recorded, but I can't imagine life without it now.... Compared to cable, Hughes offers so much more at a better price. The programing is easy to start a series but deleting a series is hard. Occationally the recording is poor which may be due to weather which is understandable. I am not sure what HD DPI it is recording and unable to figure out how to check.
