kathi26 says "Huggies Goodnites aren't just for little kids" about Huggies Goodnites Diapers

Huggies Goodnites work well not only for little kids, but big kids as well. Most people buy them for older kids who have be wetting accidents at night, But my daughter has incontinence issues, due to birth defects, so we have been using them for 10 years. We've tried other brands, but still keep coming back to goodnites. The only downside is the price, so coupons are a great help.
...

ddiscenza says "Huggies' Goodnites really work for the older child." about Huggies Goodnites Diapers

My daughter has had delayed potty training and now while fully trained during the day is still working on the nighttime. We moved her from diapers, then pull-ups to Goodnites when the previous items were getting too full at night. The Goodnites work great and we have had very few accidents at night. Plus the designs are really pretty and my daughter, even with fine motor issues, can pull them up and down on her own. It really gives her a sense of independence and for that I am grateful. The price point is very good and I have also been able to find these at my local warehouse club that also takes coupons. So for me, this product has great value for the money, too. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a child that is having accidents at night and is just waiting for their child's nervous system to mature to the point of no need for this sort of thing. It is peace of mind and you get a better night of sleep!
...

I am a grandmother , who's children are 31 and 29 now,, when my two girls were babies they could not wear disposable diapers, but I had friends who used the disposable diapers, and they always chose huggies . Seems like they had more control , of their children staying dry,, As days and years went on, they came out with the pull up training pants,, they did wonders for my grandson who now is 3. And wow I didnt even know they had boxers lol. Think on my next go around on grand kids I am going to remind my self about these boxer huggies, What a great Idea . I think the all nighters are great,, you dont have to doctor your bed up with pads and such. And I also think these babies enjoy them because they can go potty by themselfs and the next step is either pretty little panties or cute little briefs
...

I have 3 sons, all of whom trained late and have continued to wet the bed well into their teens. They can't help it, its a family thing and no amount of sprays or other methods are going to stop the...flow of events ;)

Goodnites simply don't have a lot of capacity, and are really only useful for light wetters. We tried them on our oldest, hoping they'd work for sleepovers and be more discrete than youth diapers, but he flooded out of them by the middle of the night 3 nights running. That's when we pretty much gave up. Now he's back in attends, and he uses his little brother's pampers to stuff the front of them because he tends to flood, and according to our doctor diapers aren't designed to take more than a small amount at a time out of the box. So if your kids is leaking on overnight weight diapers, you might want to think about skipping goodnites all together and going straight up to youth sizes.
...

I am the grandmother to four great kids. Three girls and one boy. The boy being the youngest, I subscribe to several "freebie" sites and when I saw a sample of Huggies Goodnites Diapers I grabbed it. My grandson who is 3 is very big for his age is also autistic. He is just now starting to understand the concept of potty training. I like the idea of a diaper appearing to be boxer shorts and still doing the job that it was intended for. The diaper is very easy for him to pull up and down by himself therefore, making him feel more like a "big boy". Although I am not the primary "diaper buyer" I grab this sample whenever it becomes available and I also cut out coupons for my son and daughter-in-law and even for his other Grandma, who babysits him while his parents work. I think this diaper is a very good value for the product and have highly recommended it to family and friends. Great job!
...

txstefanie says "These work for overnight, but could be improved." about Huggies Goodnites Diapers

As a mom of a 4 year old who still has not figured out the night time potty training, I have struggled with how to get him to stay dry through the night. I have tried regular diapers, Pampers Easy Ups, Huggies Pull Ups, and these Huggies Good Nites. Of all of those choices, these work the best, but they could be improved in many ways.

Personally, I prefer the style of Easy Ups, the comfort fit, the elastic on the sides. They have a softer, more fabric feel to them. Unfortunately they leak.

These Good Nites are rough, like paper. They are actually huge (but the bigger size is what absorbs and prevents leaks). The picture on the diaper is not as exciting as the Cars Pull Ups.

Overall though, they do the job and that's what counts. I just wish they had a little more of a comfortable fit/style.

And, of course, as with all diapers, they are way too expensive. But I think that will always be a common complaint among parents.
...

I have a 7 yr. old son who unfortunately still can't make it through the night without wetting himself. I have tried just about every kind of pull up or training pant out there and he wet through them all. After many months of frustration from having to strip his bed every morning , I decided to try the goodnites. As any parent knows, training pants are expensive and it's very frustrating to pay a lot for them only to have your child wake up soaking wet. So I was very suprised when my son woke up after the first night of wearing these and his clothes and bedding were still dry. Since then I have used both the Goodnites pull ups and the Goodnites boxers. They each work very well at holding in the wetness and not allowing my son to " flood" everywhere. I do think he prefers the boxer style though because they look less like a diaper and more like older boy underwear. I do like that Goodnites offer the choice in styles as well as sizes for older children who still haven't mastered...
...

I am a mother of two daughters, aged 17 and 11, and a son, aged 8. My two younger kids have had a long history of bladder control problems in the night. I heard about GoodNites for the first time when I saw them advertized in a magazine. This was two years ago. I bought a boys' pack and a girls' pack and decided to see if they worked. That night, they both wore them to bed and the next morning, their sheets were totally dry. Today, my daughter is just about out of her bewetting phase. However, my son is still in the thick of it, so he will be wearing the GoodNites diapers for quite a while longer. This is OK with him and I because we both do not want to have to go through drying urinated sheets again....

I have 2 children who are 5 and 8. They still deal with night time accidents. These diapers are great because they fit the larger children. We do occasionally have leaks, though. There arent many alternatives out there so we use the Good nites. I will continue to use them but would try an alternative if there were one....

Huggies Goodnight Diapers were not a hit in our house. My son who is almost four did not like them at all. We tried or should I say we attempted the new boxers for him to be like a big guy. It reminded me of the paper garments you get at the doctors office. I stretched the pull up boxer and it looks like boxers with a pad in the middle. The appearance and feeling werent appealing to my son, I would have felt better with just regular pull ups. If you have a bigger child these may be ok but I will choose a different brand next time....
