I wish I still had them so I could pass them down to my son. My son is 5 and loves his Hot Wheels vehicles. He plays with them almost everyday. He makes a parking garage and sets them all in a row. He plays "crash" with them and also plays racing games with his friends. These Hot Wheels cars are very durable and stay in tact even after five year olds beat on them. These cars have also been used outside by the pool and have been imersed in water, still they have all there paint in tact. These toys are well made and could withstand a beating. I do not ever recall a time when one of the wheels may have popped off as do other brands of die cast mini collectible cars. Hot wheels has been around for many years and I am looking forward to the future of more Hot Wheels products and styles. I am still a kid at heart and love seeing what will come out next.</p>... Mon, 16 Jun 2008 23:18:18 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Hot-Wheels-review-8df81 kristi27 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Hot-Wheels-review-edbf Having two young boys, we've recently been purchasing Hot Wheels Cars.  I like the detail and durability of the cars, but the play sets and tracks are another matter!  Both times I've bought a track set of some kind, they've broken after being played with once or twice!  The tracks never seemed sturdy and we had to put them together each time they wanted to play which took a little while.  The last set we bought was really cool and worked really well for about one day!  After that the gears that turned got stripped and so we returned the toy.  My son was disappointed as it had been one of his Christmas presents.  If you ask me, stick to the Hot Wheels cars and let the kids use their imaginations as to what they drive them on!... My 19 year old had a tub full of them when he was younger.  When he moved away from home, he passed them down to his little brother, who is now 7.  We purchased a Hot Wheels brand storage box which is shaped like a race car.  The top has a track that the cars can be run on.  It fits great under the bed!  <br/>Now, the Hot Wheels have become THE favorite of my 19 month old!  Most of the cars have lasted through an acumulation of over FIFTEEN YEARS of continuous play by three boys!<br/>They are rough n tough enough for outside play and clean easily.  I have yet to have one rust.<br/><br/>Overall, we LOVE these toys in our home and couldnt imagine anyone NOT having them!<br/><br/><br/>... She's so girly, but she'll play with hours running these cars over our hardwood floors, the walls, in her Barbie houses, wherever, and they last forever!  Well, at least she hasn't broken any at all yet, and she's almost five.  She's had some of her cars since she was only two years old.  They are the one thing that works for all of the kids whenever we have little boy company....
