I generally try to adopt a more professional tone when writing reviews, but the mere mention of Hot Fuzz guarantees my instant transformation into a blithering fangirl.

Simon Pegg! He plays a no-nonsense cop! He's so good at what he does that his bosses transfer him to a quiet little English town because he keeps making them look bad with his relentless butt-kickery!

Nick Frost! He plays the bumbling small-town cop that Pegg's partnered with! He got his job through nepotism and he's a well-meaning doofus that gets into all kinds of hilarious scrapes!

The town has been voted "safest town in England" for, like, forever, but this is threatened when there are some suspicious deaths. They look like accidents, but Pegg is suspicious.

Well, I don't want to give away the farm, so suffice it to say that there are chase scenes and intrigue and a ridiculously ossom shootout in the middle of the town.

But what really makes this film is the tight pacing and witty dialogue -- man, what a well-written...

Though Shawn has more laughs, this film has a better story and a more satifying climax. Over all a better films with great :Simon Pegg" moments. This film holds you rapt and then jumps out and makes you laugh when you least expect it. Simon doesn't keep all the laughs for himself. Each character is rich and interesting. ...

Now I'm a big fan of Shawn of the Dead so when Hot Fuzz came out, I was delighted to see Pegg and Frost in another comedy together. The film starts off rather slowly with it focusing mostly on Pegg and little on Frost, who I find to be the funnier of the two. Many of the joke seem to be lacking and are not up to par with their previous film. Then, in the last 20 minutes or so, things became hilarious. It was action packed and over the top, so much that everything was funny. This is one of those films where the ending does make up for the rest of the film. Definitely check Hot Fuzz out if you haven't had the chance.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are Savage!! They make the best crim-fighting duo sence Batman and Robin, Hot Fuzz the Slap-stick humor, action packed and tear jurking moments of a great friendship with all that what more can we ask for? A cuddlie monkey? You got it! This movie is Uproariously Funny!! I highly recomend! Also if you find you like it as much as I did check out Shaun of the Dead! It's even Better!!

This movie is amazing hilarious. I first I wasn't sure about how funny it would be since I didnt think Shaun of the Dead was any good. But my boyfriend persuaded me to go and I said sure since it looks decent. It is now my favorite movie. This movie has so much going on both funny and action. Everytime I watch it there is always something new I had not noticed before. Like referring to things jokingly in the beginning of the movie and then later it happens to be true. Oh so funny! This movie is amazing. I already own on DVD but once it comes to Blu-Ray, I'm there! ...

Hot Fuzz is hilarious. Love British comedy. Love the guys. This movie is a must see. There is a bit of violence and I could have done without some of the blood, but, its done in a different way than most movies....

Hot Fuzz, the opposite end of Shaun of the Dead, is a brilliant British comedy. It has your perks and fun. It has all the action you want and all of the most brilliant jokes ever. I mean it is off the wall but I suppose you have to be an off the wall type of person. I mean especially kicking an old lady in the face, the character had a good reason, she was about to shoot him. haha. But Hot Fuzz may start off slow but it does grow into something funny and actiony!
