This hoover is made so cheap. The wheels under the front break with no stress and the vacuum tore up my floor making grooves in my floor. The whole thing is cheap plastic. I called hoover 5 times and am still waiting for them to respond.
...

Wow, I was amazed at how much dirt this vacuum picked up and how easy it is to empty! I borrowed a friends vacuum because mine had a broken belt. I couldn't believe how much dirt this picked up compared to the $300 vacuum I was using!

I immediately went out and bought one! I love it.
...

troymello says "Good buy when you don't want to spend money on Dyson." about Hoover Vacuum - Fusion Plus Cyclonic Upright Vacuum

I'll admit, I wanted the Dyson, but I didn't want to spend the money on the Dyson. I bought this instead and, as it turns out, have been quite pleased with it. It's got the power and the cyclonic action keeps it from clogging unlike my previous vacuum.

The attachments are all you'd need. It empties easy. In the 1.5 years I've owned, only once have a popped a few panels apart and washed a couple of filters. At that time, I had not noticed any loss of power, I just thought it would be good to do... like changing the oil on my car.

The big con... it's heavy. It's not really a big deal when you're pushing it around, but you'll notice it when you need to lift it or carry it. It weighs about 25 pounds. For most folks, inluding myself, this isn't a terrible big issue. I did notice there are several, unakward ways to pick it up.. that helps.

All cyclonic vacuums have been heavy. I noticed that Dyson has come out with some lighter models now, so it won't be long when these moderately......

We had recently moved into our new house when we bought this product. We previously lived in a house with hardwood floors so I only had an electric broom. Our new house had carpet. We own a border collie/australian shepard who has a black coat. We also have 2 boys ages 5 and 2. And white carpets. We knew we needed something strong. My husband told me to shell out for a dyson but I seen this and thought it would be nice and save us alot of money. I was very happy with it as first. It picked up all the dog hair and crumbs off my floor. After a few uses though it seemed to loose alot of its suction. I also notcied that I had to empty the dirt container everytime I used it no matter what. When I had to use the attachments for cleaning dust hanging from my ceiling or fan the vaccum always falls over. Even if i have to use it for corners on my floor and stretch it a little bit. Like another user said It clogs easy. Im always having too pull out dust/hair out of it. I havent had to replace the......

TracieFadian says "A Dyson you are CERTAINLY NOT!" about Hoover Vacuum - Fusion Plus Cyclonic Upright Vacuum

The main reason for choosing this product:
I have ALOT of carpet to vacuum, 2 cats, and 3 children of which one is a TODDLER! I don't just need a vacuum, I need a VACUUM! Ideally my family was MADE for the DYSON, but we cannot remotely afford one! I saw this particular vacuum at Walmart and liked the way it looked, was attracted to their claim to be the closest thing to a DYSON, and liked the bagless feature. I usually pay $50 - $80 for a vacuum. This one was around $120.00, but I figured if it was claiming to be a Dyson withpout the hefty price, it was worth it.........NOT!!

The real story:
This vacuum is powerful, and did pick up better than any other vacuum I had before. Although, it clogged after only using it a few times, and then just about EVERY time after that. I pick up everything bigger than a crumb before I vacuum, and change the bag/canister often, so I couldn't figure out why it clogged so much! I also seemed to be changing the belt quite often. It was VERY heavy and awkward to......
