We have pets, and 3 years ago we pulled up all of the carpeting and put in vinyl on our floors. My husband and I fought over which mops work best and my disgust with the smell because it seems you could never rinse it well enough. Then along came the Hoover Floormate! Yaah! Fantastic! Wide foot print makes short work. You are scrubbing and rinsing at the same time. The scrubbers (easy to remove to clean or exchange for the grout scrubber) get into every little crany. How about when my husband messed up with dishwasher? The Floormate has three options, 1. Wash/rinse 2. Wet Pickup 3. Dry pickup. I used the wet pickup to get all the water up in no time! I never use the dry pick up because of the pet hair which use our vacuum cleaner for. The return (the dirty water holder) is right in front and comes out and goes back in easily, rinses easily. The holder for the cleaner mixed with water is above that and is easy to fill and has it's own measuring cup/top and is also easy to remove and replace.......

In the past ten years I have had any and all kinds of hard floor cleaners. The Hoover Floormate beats them all hands down. It's rotating brushes clean better than any other type, and the suction is the very best. It takes less time to clean my floors now, and I mean really clean them, than ever before.

I love the Hoover floor cleaner. It makes cleaning my 2000 sq ft of tile much easier!! I do not care for it on the hard wood. It leaves streaks. I have 4 in the past and am shopping for number 5. I need the industrial model. Have you seen one?? How about the best price?? I have found the best price at Walmart site to store.

I found my Hoover Floormate Plus at a thrift store, of all places! I had seen them in the stores and really wanted one but couldn't justify the price tag over my apparent hate for the mop. So, for $5 we brought it home, took it apart and cleaned it, and then I ventured onto the linoleum to test this thing out. Holy cow! It was awesome!!

I have linoleum and two kinds of ceramic tile flooring in my house. It cleans both great. Linoleum more so than the tile, but the people who grouted our tile did it too shallow so I don't really think it is the machines fault for not reaching the grout in all areas! I have used many different concentrated cleaners in the solution and all clean great. Even plain vinegar works just fine.

I have had the Floormate for over a year now and I cannot imagine life before this machine! I have 2 bones that are broken in my lower back and this makes it so easy to clean my floors. The most lifting you have to do is picking up the small receptacle...

I love the Hoover FloorMate. I have a 3 bedroom house with kitchen, 2 baths, den and living room. Only 2 rooms in our home have carpet the rest are wood floors or tile. When the dog comes inside after stepping in the mud, I whip out the machine and the floor is clean. When my 2 year old spills his juice, I suck up the mess with the Floormate, wash it with the Floormate and then suck up the water. I don't use paper towels to clean messes anymore. I can clean all my floors without hurting my knees. I can even sweep up the floors using it as a dry vacuum before I clean. ...

I purchased the Hoover Hard Floor Vacuum Cleaner about three years ago..model H3032. It has never worked for me as I'm not exactly Holly Homemaker. I tried to blame the vacuum cleaner, but finally decided it was I who the culprit since I'm not a very good cleaning person.

THEN, I looked at the description again and it said "HARDWOOD". No wonder. I don't have any hardwood. I only have carpet. I do think the fellow who sold it to me should have told me that, but I didn't ask and he didn't tell. Now I have to go out and buy a new vacuum cleaner as I just moved into a new house with ...you guessed it...all carpet.

I will stay with Sears and Hoover as I have had many vacs over the years and my family always shopped at Sears when I was growing up. Everything we owned was the MIDDLE Kenmore appliance.

If you have a lot of hardwood floors or tiled areas this is amazing! One tank can clean all the rooms in my house and I finish with a mopped look without the back pain! I love it....

The FloorMate is OK cleaning up light traffic marks, but the scrubbers are not very effective when it comes to scuff marks, so I end up having to manually scrub sections of the floor. When I'm in a hurry, I find a Swiffer is quicker with almost the same result.

My little condo is nothing but ceramic tile floors and I hated using a mop and bucket. Now that I have this, I've cut my cleaning time in half and I don't have to deal with a messy mop and dirty bucket any more. It's a little pricey, but for the convenience it's really worth it. The cleaner that comes with it smells great and my floors feel great under my bare feet! The only downside is that it doesn't come with a grout brush, but overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.
