So you think fans are just for summer? No way! The Honeywell High Velocity Turbo Force Table Fan Model HT-800 is better than even its name indicates. And the advance of cooler weather doesn't mean this baby goes in storage.

The Honeywell Turbo Force Fan's a regular little powerhouse when it comes to evacuating smoke from a room. You say you've never had a fireplace fire and forgotten to open the damper? (Lucky you, if not.) But if you do, think twice about opening every window in the house on a cold evening. The Turbo Fan, faced outward in a single window and blasting at the highest of its three speeds, will give you a tremendous head start on clearing the air.

TunefulPal and I are specialists at "overcooking" in the kitchen. When the fire alarm screeches shrilly in the hall, we have to shut the kitchen doors to make it stop. Meanwhile, we're in a small kitchen full of cooking odors, burning food and smoke. After turning the food off and closing the doors, we rush a...
...

wne0075 says "A great , dependable value, with a few small problems" about Honeywell Fan - Turbo High Performance Fan

The Honeywell Turbo, High Performance Fan is great overall. It is a small compact design that packs a huge punch and is a great value. My problems are that it does not oscilate (although it is not advertised to do so), and it does not really have a low setting. There are three variable speeds, but I have never turned it past low. If the fan is pointed directly at me, even if it is hot inside, it becomes too much. This is coming from an extremely hot natured person. The fan dies have a little bit of noise issues. For me personally, this is an advantage. I work in a cubical and appreciate the noise to drown out others conversations, but I felt it important because I imagine the majority would hold this as a disadvantage. Another disadventage, at least when I bought it, was the lack of color options. My only choice was black. I would much rather have a tower fan if money were no issue, but for the value, i would make this purchase again.
...

shananigan88 says "this fan really works hard and cools you" about Honeywell Fan - Turbo High Performance Fan

My dorm room at school is very tempermental when it comes to temperature. We have our own heating and cooling system and our own thermostat, but it just like any dorm it doesn't work that well and never seems to get to the eact cooling or heating temperature that you want. Therefore, I was looking for a small fan to keep in my room to help with temperature needs. This Honeywell fan works out great. It has three different settings and moves up and down. Plus, I've never had any problems with it working. If anything I sometimes have to turn it down because it does its job too well. The only problem that I have is that it collects dust and the only way to clean it is a Swiffer duster or feather duster of some sort. However, my main problem is the noise. It is very loud and sometimes I even have to turn it off because I cannot hear my computer music. I would recomend this fan to anyone who is looking for a small fan to give them an extra cooldown.
...

I bought the Honeywell SuperTurbo Fan for my office desk. It IS very powerful... in fact I only use it on the lowest setting and that is too much air and noise for my taste. If you want a tiny powerful fan this is for you. But if you want a little fan for your desk that will move the air and not mess up your hair this is NOT the fan you want. Another thing I don't like is the fact that to turn it on or adjust the speed you have to reach over the top and behind the fan to do it and this is a hassle to me. I would much rather have an adjustment button on the front that was fast and easy to reach.
This is a GREAT fan if.. like I said you want lots of air and don't want to carry on a conversation while it is running as it is very powerful. I am currently looking or a quiter, less powerful fan for my deck and hairdo. The name given Super Turbo is exactly right for what this fan does....

Although I have an excellent built-in wall unit air conditioner, there are times when all I need is a good fan and that has proven to be my Honeywell Super Turbo High Performance Fan. It has saved my life through two summers now and that hasn't always been easy since I live on the top floor of our building with a lot of southern exposure and heat can be a real problem at times.

I love the way the fan tilts to various angles and has three settings. It is also lightweight and easy to move about. Unless I have it on the lowest setting, it is a tad loud especially if I'm trying to listen to music or my television but the cooling effect is worth this problem. One thing which I have noticed is that this fan cannot be dissembled and thus cleaned thoroughly -- at least neither I nor anyone else has figured out how to take it apart and the instruction manual didn't help in this respect either. Aside from vacuuming or dusting what I can reach, there is no way to clean the inner workings...
...

I have one of these previous Honeywell High performance Floor Model Fan (same enclosure/black) for more than three years. It outlasted any previous fan I have before. I'm looking for a new one of these same model. Why try another? It really moves air, these desing is atractive and ocupies a very few space of floor. We use it for more than 10 hours daily always. I can't spect more thant what I get from this item. The next thing in this category that I can compare to it, is my Hunter Ceiling Fans, an this is quality with a recognized great brand on it....

The Honeywell Super Turbo High Performance Fan is a little dynamo. Light as a bug I move mine from room to room while cleaning, cooking, etc. It's quiet, adjusts upward and down and the three speeds are perfect. I'd be lost without the little wonder and although it's a little time consuming to clean, I would not change a thing....

I own 4 of these fans , and they work great on keeping you cool in the summer, infact we have cut down greatly in our use of our centrl air use , because the fans circulate the cool air so well we done need to use it all day long .just an hour or so in the morning then maybe couple hours in the afternoon,, my electric bills have reduced tremendously.. Thank You Honeywell...

The Honeywell Super Turbo High Performance Fan is small but cool and very convenient to move from room to room. Also can blow soft or hard as needed, tllts up or down and cools from side to side or in one spot. The price is right too. It is pretty quiet on low, but medium and high can get loud, but you can still live with it for the price....

Purchased about a year ago, this desk-top fan has seen me through broken office A/C, hot summer days, unbearable work days, and more. The fan provides ample strength (especially for the size), and it is surprisingly quiet. I've recommended this product to coworkers and friends, and they have had equally positive experiences with it....

This is a great fan, we live in crazy heat during the summer, today it was triple digits and still hot at 2:15 a.m. - however, this fan cools off a room in a short period of time.

It's a little noisy on the highest control,, however, its cooling benefits outweigh the noise.

It was made in the USA, always a plus - less made in China is a benefit in itself. Too many products are made there with just as many recalls with problems, plus the folks born and raised in the USA have lost or are losing their decent jobs to China and other countries, so the more products made in the USA, creating jobs for here, all the better!

If the fan is at medium or low, it's less noisy and cool enough for a restful sleep.

I didn't want an oscillating fan because they blow my papers everywhere, these fans work great and my paperwork stays put, and I'm cooled off
...

I have this fan and love it. It's compact and very powerful for the size. i reccommend this to anyone that needs a fan for whatever reason. Wow, I got it as a gift because i workout at home and it's superb. I get all hot and sweaty pre fan but now it's as cool as the other side of the pillow with the fan running while I'm working out. I also run it in the living room or bedroom to compensate for the A/C. I use it when I have to work on my cars and it's a life savior in the hot garage. The fan has many uses not just for personal cooling but also to aerate cooking or other noxious odors.
...
