This eye-catching truck is the one vehicle that fits our family's needs. The spacious well in the bed of the truck is perfect for groceries and the swing open gate makes it easy to load. The towing capacity makes it a great truck but it handles like a car. Average gas mileage, better than the comparable Chevy Avalanche. The bed is smaller than most trucks, but we haven't had the need for more space. I absolutely recommend this truck....

sdcivic says "This vehicle is a car, SUV and truck all in one." about Honda Ridgeline - 2006

The Ridgeline is a wonderful overall vehicle. The handling is very similar to our Civic and has a large trunk. We fit 5 adults very comfortably for long trips. We haven't found any day to day job too big for our Ridgeline as of yet. The gas mileage is pretty good for a truck. Of course, we always want it better from an economical and environmental stand point. Take this truck out for a test drive and turn around in a circle. You will find the turning radius is amazing. This vehicle has the comfort and feel of a car, room of a SUV and the hauling capabilities of a truck....

MrsTuna says "The Ridgeline is one terrific vehicle." about Honda Ridgeline - 2006

I love my Ridgeline. There are only two things I can think of for improvements.

1. As a Grandmother who has to deal with locking a 4 year old into a booster seat, the back seat belts are almost impossible to latch with one hand. The idea is to have them tucked into the backrest so you don't get poked in the rear when you get in. However, they are so well tucked in that you need to use two hands to hold them out and get them latched.

2. The cup holders are so close together that you can only put one cup with a handle in at a time. A simple slot toward the back of the holder would solve the problem.

The trunk space under the truck bed is terrific. Deep, roomy and water tight too. Back seats fold up to give you lots of space inside. Height is easy to get into but you still sit higher so you have a good view. Easy to handle, fun to drive. I would like to put a cover on the truck bed but it is really expensive. I can sure live without it.

I love my Ridgeline.
...

gpruchniewski says "Greatest Truck I've ever owned" about Honda Ridgeline - 2006

I love my Honda Ridgeline. I bought it in July 2005 and to this day (Aug 2007) I am still absolutely in love with my truck. I have the fully loaded model and I love the sunroof, navigation, appearance (inside & outside) of my truck. It rides smooth, it hasn't had any problems or major recalls yet. I can't say enough good things about the truck. I will however, point out several things I hope have been, or will be fixed in new models.

1. Sunroof isn't one touch open/close. (You have to hold the button the entire time)

2. Window Lock - When you hit the windows lock button, NOT EVEN the driver can operate any windows other than the driver side. I think the driver should have access to open/close all windows when the windows are locked.

3. Navigation - When you are searching for a place by name, it NEVER finds the place near you. I was searching for McDonald's in Virginia and the first (closest) one pointed me to Alabama. It does this with everything. I'm hoping they fix...
...
