Then I met my fiance.  More on that later.</p><p>This humidifier holds 2.5 gallons of water which is enough to run it for 24 hours straight on low.  It has a low and high setting for you to control the amount of cool mist dispensed into the air.  Because this humidifier has no built-in sensor, you need to use a hygrometer and the fan settings to maintain your desired humidity level.</p><p>It worked well for me.  The bedroom was nice and humid which allowed me to sleep comfortably.  Unfortunately, my fiance cannot sleep with any type of noise in the bedroom, so I had to stop using the <em>Holmes 1280-HU Cool Mist Humidifier.</em>  I moved it into my "bird...</p>...
