I work at a desk situated in a large open warehouse. Such large open spaces are difficult to keep comfortably warm in the winter. Having a sedentary desk job, normally on the phone or a computer, I don't usually move around enough to keep my body generating its own heat. I needed a space heater.

This Holmes 1-Touch heater is exactly what I needed. It's compact enough that it doesn't get in the way of my rolling desk chair. It has enough power to keep the space at my desk (and me) warmer even on the coldest of days. I like the adjustable low-to-higher settings so that I can easily regulate the temperature. A safety feature that I also value is the automatic shut-off if the unit ever gets too hot, but I've never had that happen. I think that function would kick in if you forget to turn it off.

The unit isn't very expensive to begin with, so this seems like a good value. It has worked reliably even in a dusty environment. The heat-producing elements are...

I bought this heater at my favorite store "target". I paid 4.00 and change for this heater on clearance. I got it home and it works great. different heat settings, only comes on and off when needed, and it really heats. this is a great item no matter how much.

i brought this holmes heater for basement room and it worked wonders, keep not only the room i wanted to keep warm, but when the door was opened it keep other parts of the basement room as well. i love this product and would buy it again.

I got this heater about 8 months ago and , unlike the other 3-5 heaters I've had in the past, this one is still going strong. It does not heat up my room as quickly as others I have had, but it does get a room very warm. I originally did not think that I would like the thermostat feature. However, I have gotten used to it and I am very satisfied with the feature. I like the fact that I now know what temperature I am setting the heater at. I like the safety feature also. Even if the heater is slightly tipped, the heater will turn off for a moment. I wish that the heater had a feature where it would automatically cut off after an extended period of time, though. I also like the fan feature.It gets very hot here and this little fan does help to cut through the heat. The heater is also very quiet. I am able to concentrate on other things without the noise of the heater getting in my way. I am hoping that this heater will last a lot longer.

My boss bought the Holmes Space Heater to keep my work space warm and it works great. It has several options and temperature adjustments. We are in Southern California but the sun doesn't come through this part of the office and it stays cold when it is "cold" (by California standards) 50 degrees .This little heater is very quiet and it is cool to the touch. I often warm my hands by it as they get cold above the desk as I'm typing. (Wish I had it now at home).

You won't regret buying this little heater to heat up a bathroom, a child's room or your own bedroom. It doesn't use much electricity and can be bought at a great price. Very affordable....

I love the holmes space heater. We have one room in our home that never seems to heat up or cool off the way the rest do. The only way to solve the problem without a lot of money was a space heater. So we went shopping and found the holmes one was not too expensive and was not too big or small. It works perfect for us and the thermostat is wonderful. I like that it turns off when the room reaches the right temp.

This space heater is great! We needed a heater to heat up our basement as it gets very cold in the winter season. It works so well, we can now have another family and game room to play in. It has just the right temperatures to regulate the amount of heat needed. Thanks for a great product....

Good value.
Found on QVC.
Item is no more than 15" high, 8" wide.
Good for under-the-desk if you work in an office where some folks are cold and some are warm.
Very unobtrusive.
Would be good for a bathroom, small bedroom, recreational vehicle/motor home, atrium garden room.
Super quiet - motor is barely noticeable

I purchased this space heater to be able to work in the garage in the winter time. It is reliable and fast working. We have a four car garage and this small unit heats up my work area in no time at all! It keeps me warm all day even when it is below freezing or snowing outside. It is also great because of its ease of use. The mechanisms are easy to read and understand. The only downfall is that it does not automatically turn off after a period of time nor does it turn off automatically if moved. I like it because it is portable and many of my neighbors have borrowed it to do their own winter garage work!

This is a great little heater. Lightweight and portable makes this a perfect addition to any room where you desire a little extra warmth. I bought one for my grandmother because she gets cold easily and she just loves it. She takes it in the bathroom with her when she showers to take the chill off the room until she dries and dresses

I bought one for myself after buying it for her. It is a great little heater and I highly recommend it to anyone needing a little extra warmth

This heater has been the best I have bought over the years. With cats walking around, I feel it is fairly safe. Takes a little while to warm up a small room, but once it does it is great. Temp control makes it shut off when it reaches the desired temp. Bonus on the electical bill! Small and out of the way....

I purchased this heater to put in the bathroom and I love it! Not only is it compact, but It quickly warms up the room so you can wake up a few minutes early in the morning, turn it on, and before you know it, you have a warm toasty bathroom perfect for those cold morning showers! I also like the swivel option....

I actually have 2 of these small heaters in our house. One in basement to keep hubbys feet warm when he sits down there to watch tv. Great small heater for close quarters, and is cool to touch outer case. use the other to heat the small outer proch area when friends come over and need to smoke when it is to cold outside to stand . Everyone told me good idea. and so handy...
