I received excellent service from the Hilton in downtown Chicago. Service was top notch. The rooms were excellent. For the price I paid, I expected the routine, but got a two room suite with excellent amenities. They really paid attention to detail in these rooms, we had two flat screen TV's and an easy to use pod coffee maker. I am going to try to stay here every chance I get.
...

I wanted to take the girlfriend to Chicago for her birthday and spend a few days hitting the sights and of course shopping. If you are at all interested in going to Museum Alley (Shedd Aquarium, Adlor Planetarium, Field Museum and Soldier Field) I would highly recommend The Hilton, Chicago. It is one of the closest hotels in proximity so Museum Alley is within walking distance which is great. It is right across the street from Grant Park on Michigan Street. The walk to most of the shopping further north on Michigan is doable but make sure you have good shoes because it is a little bit of a walk.

Right away you will see the quality when you walk in the lobby of the Hilton. It has been recently renovated and it looks absolutely gorgeous. We stayed on a Saturday night and the rate was reasonable. We arrived around 9:00 am even though check-in was not until 3 or 4. We had no issue checking in at the front desk. The woman checking us in took my cell phone number and told me they would try to......

I have stayed here many times with dissapointing stays, progressively worse each stay. The maid service and hotel personal could definately be more friendly and the overall cleanliness is far from four star quality.

...

I have been in Chicago now for almost 2 months for work. I travel several times a year and my stays can be quite long at times. It is nice to know that truly elegant and traditional hospitality still exists.

Since I have been here, I have tried my stay a a few of "Chicago's finest" hotels. The Chicago Hilton seems to have been the only one that has exceeded any expectations I've had.

This hotel provides service at it's finest. One of the only hotels that really has everything you could possibly need. Take this factor and combine it with the staff's exquisite service and you have one heck of a hotel.

It has definitely been a pleasure staying here. The only regret I have is that I didn't stay here my whole time here in Chi-town!
...
