I have a home office and I have had a number of All-In-One printers over the years. The HP PhotoSmart C6180 All-In-One has been a pleasure to work with. I do a number of things work-wise such as copying some paperwork here and there, scanning materials here and there as well print out items. The photo printing is an extra for me and one that I find a bit of a luxury and useful when I need it. I really use this machine as a workhorse. While many would prefer a laser printer and I can understand their point, you cannot beat this quality for the ease of use, the quality of the product and outputs and most of all, price. I also love the fact that I can insert all types of memory cards into the system to download photos and documents to print. It is my expectation that at one point I will need to buy a new all-in-one system and I fully expect I will value the brand again and buy another one though a newer model.

I have had my Photosmart printer for a couple of years now. I like the way it makes copies, prints and most of all print photos. I have had a number of problems with the software. I had to have HP send me a disk to correct some of the problems. I am so glad that I had them send me the disks, cause I have used it a couple of times since the first problem. I recently took it to the shop and attempted to use another printer. It was a nightmare. I had problems loading the software and could never get it to work. I finally gave up and decided to wait until my HP was returned. This experience really made me appreciate my Photosmart printer. The ease of replacing the cartridges, loading the paper and making copies. The convenience of printing photos when I need them immediately. When I was having problems, I was thinking about changing brands. Since my experience with another brand, I have decided to stay with the HP. The one thing I do not like about the printer is...

When I purchased this Hewlett Packard C6180 All in one printer I was specifically looking for a printer that would work regardless of which inks were full and which were empty. Well as it turns out it doesn't work that way. If you run out of a color ink the printer won't even print just black which is a big disappointment because sometimes I don't have the money to buy just one color which pretty much tenders my printer useless at this point

This is the best printer that i ever bought because, i like the fact that i can put my memory card in the slot and it prints my photos. The print quality is really good my pictures come out beautiful, i like to take pictures of the foliage and they come out really nice. I also like the fact that i can load in alot of papers and it copyies them instead of the old flat bed when you had to do one at a time.

It is so wonderful when I am able to find a computer device, as wonderful as this HP Photosmart C6180.

Now a days, being that computer prices have goten so much less expensive than even two years ago. Since most families from what I heard from someone is that it comes to an average of 2.5 computers per household.

Personally, I have 5 computers, and they are not all in the same room. Does this mean that I have to have 5 printers to be able to take care of all my printing needs, The answer with this multi-function printer is no.

I am able to connect this printer to computers the following ways:

1. USB

2. Ethernet

3. 802.11_ known to most people as wireless.

Personally, I use the USB connection to the computer that the printer sits next to, but I use it wireless to the remainder of computers that I own.

As I stated earlier, this multi--function printer also is able to print by ethernet connection to your roughter. I have never used this connection method. This from what...

This Wi-Fi connected printer and my laptop are in love, and I am right there to cheer them on. I haven't gotten into photo printing, but the functions are sweet, the printing excellent. the options plentiful and performance so far - better than expected. Worried that ink prices may put a damper on things in the future, but the scan function and copy are of great importance and work great. Scanning to my laptop and having the scans show up in a folder in my Pictures directory is the bomb. Price was excellent -waited for promotion and sale and walked away with this nice all in one for very little cost. I have had other brand printers and scanners over the years but went back to HP because both printers and scanners from them have all been my favorites and best performers.

I love this printer, HP Photosmart C6180 All-In-One InkJet Printer. The quality of color prints are good, I love the fact it is also a fax machine as well as a copier. I've had it for about a year and have had no problems. I would purchase this printer again....

I have rued the day I switched from Epson and bought the HP Photosmart C6180. At the time I need an All-in-One and Epson didn't have one. The HP C6180 has been nothing but trouble ever since. I have a home office with 3 Apple computers, as well as 2 PCs, with the C6180 as the network printer.

The C6180 is far from user friendly with unclear instructions from initial installation and set-up to use of the various features. There is even more unclear troubleshooting guidance. Customer support, what's that with HP? I have found the software to be unstable as well with some features working one time but not the next or suddenly packing it in all together. This often means having to uninstall/re-install if you want to get them back. Downloading updates, don't count on it since most updates generally fail.

Network use; fast and easy to set-up a wired network and the network sees and tests the printer and scanner fine. However, when it comes time to print it is hit or miss whether it actually...

My HP Photosmart C6180 died after only a year and a half (and after only printing/copying less than 5900 pages).

I have prior experience with both HP and Brother printers --- I have come to swear at HP for their %^%$%& products and customer service (aka, NONE) and have come to swear by Brother products. I previously had a Brother laser printer that performed without fault ---- it got retired when my step-son took it off to college. I replaced it with the HP OfficeJet K80 and then the HP Photosmart C6180 when we set up our wireless home network. I wasn't all that happy with the OfficeJet K80 and considered another Brother printer before I purchased the HPC6180, but the footprints of the available Brother models all were too large for the space where I needed to place the printer. I settled for the HPC6180 --- a mistake from the outset.

This machine is amazing, i get everyone done all at one time, and the picture come out so well. I've finished a scrapebook thats been sitting by itself for over 6 months now, in 3 days of having this printer. Faxed a resume to a new job, and scanned a personal check straight into my bank account!!! :)...

This printer does beautiful print jobs. I'm an architecture major so part of my assignments is to print out digital images of my designs and at my critiques I am constantly getting complimented on how beautiful they are. And part of that is simply due to the vibrance and clarity of the prints. Also since this printer uses 6 cartridges it is easy to just replace the colors you use most. Oh and while the ink might be a little expensive, since there are 6 cartridges you can take them to Office Max or Office Depot where they are worth $3 a piece and earn back $18 from the ink, which makes the ink cost just as much as for any other printer. Oh and my other favorite thing is that it can print without a computer, just load images as a .jpg on to an SD card and slip it in, this has saved me countless times. ...

This is an excellent product, the only down side I have found is that each color has a separate cartridge so when a color runs out the printer will eventually stop working unless you replace it. However, at Best Buy if you buy 2 color cartridges at the same time you get $10 worth of printer paper free. I love being able to fax, scan, copy, print and also print photos all with the same product....

If you ever need a printer that does everything a typical home user does this is the printer for you. The printer has an automated document feeder that can be use for scanning or copying. It makes it easy to scan or copy large amount of documents in one sitting. With the six cartridge printing you can get true to life photos. Having the second tray make life simple without having to swap paper out. Photos are true to life and the colors are very vibrant. Having this printer allows you to save space without having to have 2 or 3 differnt units doing the same thing. This printer is now discontinue but its replacement C7280 is just as good and offers more for the same price....

This is a excellent product. Setup was a breeze, either usb, ethernet or wireless. So simple. I'm glad that there's are the photo colors in this machine. No needs to buy a separate photo cartridges. Enjoys the 4x6 photo tray. Card Reader in the easy to reach area of the printer.
Works great with my bluetooth dongle. I prints duplex manuals with this on fast draft, without lost of text quality. The paper tray is great since it's slides out from the bottom of it. When I printed out my first several manual, I think i had to replace the starter way past 500 sheets. Starters only give you about 100 to 150 of prints. I'm thinking about upgrading to the new 7280 AIO, but not till is breaks.
