For the most part, this has been a great printer / scanner / copier for me. The only problems I've had is printing business cards. Hard to set up cards right. You print the template, which comes out perfect, but when you print the cards, it doesn't line up properly. I've gone thru too much cards and ink to do this. Everything else though, is very good and much better than the Lexmark All in one printer I had previously to this, which was more expensive ink and didn't do many documents.

As for HP customer service, it's both good and bad. They get back to you very quickly, but tell you the same information, that you gave them in the first place or totally different information, that has absolutely nothing to do with your problem. It seems that they don't read they're own form, that they make you fill out.

I cannot stand this HP Photosmart C4280. Thankfully it came FREE with the purchase of my desktop. I have installed the drivers several different times but it still does not recognize them. The scanner stopped working months ago, but every-time I go on-line to fix it all they have to say it "multiple drivers will cause the scanner to malfunction." I'm uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times, but nothing seems to work. I've even gone into the registry editor to delete the files but it STILL doesn't work! Every time I sign on to my computer it asks me to install the drivers, but I already have! I have downloaded them from the website, I have used the starting CD. Nothing is working. Not to mention the print quality leaves a lot to be desired and the ink cartidge seemed to last me a whole MONTH with little to no printing. I can't even find them in stores half the time. I have to go to some god-awful place like Wal-mart because Office Depot knows better that to stock anything for...

I had a HP printer before and loved it. It was a 3 in one as well. One day it broke, and so I went to get a new one. I figured I would stick with HP because I liked them. but this printer has problems everyday. When I go to put a new cartridge in, it aligns...and then the next time I go to use it I have to align the whole thing AGAIN. it's very annoying. Their picture program for printing off pictures is the worst. I thought being a new model they would have made update and improvements but they seemed to have made it worse!...

hp printer is a great printer with a fast rate, the colors are wonderful and true it is easy to use and extremely useful good value for the money

i recommend it for friend and extremly confident that friend will enjoy its high quality printing

Downsite my find the ink expensive and that will not last long if you use your printer frequetly

overall i am very satisfied

I have tried many printer`s in the past. Had problems with each of them. But with my, HP printer smooth sailing i highly recommend....

I love this printer. It does everything my old printer did but takes up a ton less space on my desk. It's fast and there are plenty of different settings for printer different things. It's very easy to use and I'm glad I chose it....

I like this printer. It prints, copies & scans. This printer prints faster than my older Canon single usage printer. The scans are nice and the copies come out nice. This printer has ports to put in your memory cards from a digital camera, but it doesn't print the highest quality prints. I bought it for convenience and faster printing - not for photo printing - and I love it!! It was pretty cheap too....

got this all in one to basically print coupons, but once I printed a few pictures I knew I had a winner!being computer challenged, I must say this is very simple to use.the price was reasonable, about mid-range for an all in one.got the printer, ink, and a 100 pack of 4 by 6 in. photo paper for under $80.the price for ink refills are about $22. this is one of the best items I've added to my computer yet.anyone can master this printer, challenged or not. Its a great piece of machinery for a reasonable price. check it out.

The HP Photosmart C4280 All-In-One (AIO) is a nice simplified all new product. It will work with Windows Vista, though I have Windows XP. I could have spent $50 more and got a version with WiFi wireless networking. However, I don't use my network that much. It was more a technical accomplishment than a usefull network. The Photosmart AIO sets up very easy. Just unwrap, plug in the USB when the installer says to, snap in the ink cartridges, press OK to print a test sheet, scan the test sheet, and then you are up and running. The hardest part is registering the product.

I like the stylish look of the AIO and the fold up paper tray. The AIO can print directly from the camera memory with built in card reader. Software expands the functionality of the AIO so you can make hundreds of copies or adjust lighten/darken. The price of the ink cartridges are almost 50% cheaper than the AIO's cartridges sold around 1998. I think this little AIO and me are going to work out...

Purchased this HP to go with Dell computer after spending alot of time trying to decide whether to go with another Dell printer. However, the excessive cost of Dell ink cartridges and finding that the generic ones just weren't as good set me on a path to find a more economical printer. I found it in the HP Photosmart. I cannot say enough good things about it. One of the best features is the capability of making copies. Also scans and, as the model name implies, can do whatever I want to with photos. I highly recommend this printer!! ...

This printer is wonderful. You can print, copy and scan. It has card slots for your camera cards (pic bridge capable). It is very quiet when printing. The color quality is excellent. Small in size, but packs a powerful punch. We bought this on sale, but it is well worth the full retail price. Replacement cartriges are very reasonable and you can buy them in multi-packs....
