The Hewlett Packard photosmart full color printer is all it is cracked up to be! This machine has been a joy to use for many reasons. The printing takes a little while, not very fast, but the photo is worth the wait. The color that comes out is very true to life. The ink required to run the Hewlett Packard photosmart printer is in two separate cartriges, not one like ordinary color or photo printers. The ink comes in two separate cartiriges that together are six diffferent colors. This is great because it developes great color photos, the color of your pictures are very vivid. The bad thing about the ink cartriges is not the look of the ink on the photo's but the cost of the ink itself. The ink cartriges used for the Hewlett Packard photosmart printer cost about $47.00.I think the cost is a little on the high end compared to my old HP photo printer where as the ink only cost about $25.00 if I remember right. The ink does not last that long. I print about ten photo's...

The HP Deskjet F380 All-in-On printer is a great printer for the money. I've printer some pictures and mixed them in with some pictures that my wife sent of to have printer. Guess

what when she looked at the pictures she couldn't tell the difference in the ones I printer and

the ones she sent off to have printer. There are many tools that will help you create a picture that doesn't have any red eye, you can remove spots off the faces and make the picture much clearer. The only thing that I can say negative about the printer is it uses lots

of ink when doing picture. Supplies are easy to get and the printer is ready to help you with any printing need.

HP photo printers are user friendly. They print great. I use them instead of going to the store to print out my photogaphs. Saves a trip out in this cold!!...

I really love the size of this little photo printer which is easy to use and makes great prints but you it will only print about 36 prints with one ink cartiage which is very expensive to replace...it's much cheaper to do your prints at the local drugstore or walmat and even cheaper to order them on line..If you need just a couple of prints in a hurry this is great but not for making a lot of prints....

Somewhere, I read a positive review on the Photosmart 8250. Man, it was wrong. I am lucky to get 10 copies before the out of paper message pops up. I never let my printer run out of paper! Printing on anything, except standard copy paper, is a chore. My old Canon would print on anything. This is definitely my last HP. Trying to get an online answer to this service problem has proven impossible. HP just runs you through a series of FAQ's...never someone to directly anser your question.

The software continually causes me to have problems with my otherwise perfect Compaq FS7555 computer and XP.

And it shakes the desk when it goes through its long manintenace cycle.

Never, ever, again will I buy an HP

I have 3 different HP Photo printers. I have the portable 400 series that prints 4 x 6, 5 x 7's and passport size. This is a great printer, prints quickly and great quality. Only draw back is you have to change ink cartriges between b & w and color, so batching is best. Purchased optional battery pack and use at golf event for quick 4 x 6 printing....

I have a HP Photo printer. I love the user friendly factor. I print my own photos most of the time. You must have a PHOTO printer to print your own because the difference in the quilty is great. Being able to print your own photos is great for any scrapbooker....
