I love the HP DV6000...this laptop has such a wide screen, so that when I am surfing the web, or watching a movie I can see everything soo clearly! It is quick..I hate waiting for pages to load and with this laptop--I do not have too! It is big, but not too heavy for when I travel.

I bought my HP laptop last August on sale at Staples last year at the beginning of August. By September my laptop was making a lot of clinking sound. I was still under the manufactures warantee so I called customer service to see what the issue is. Turns out there is a problem with the cooling fan. I sent it into to them and ten days later I got it back with the same issues. I bought a warantee for four years and definitely enjoyed the price of a pc versus a mac or a linnux but all this trouble is definitely not worth it. On top of this the small rubber pieces that are attached to the laptop to prevent wear when it closes have fallen off (after 2 months).

This is a beautiful laptop with great features. This is my first time using a hp computer and maybe I just have a defective one. I'm really trying to think of good things to say but even small factors such as the below average battery life and this is definitely not for college students who plan to spend a lot of time away from a power...

love this laptop. I'm comfortable with it, I love the design, the power. I'm quite satisfied. and I'm a person who often clogs my computers with files and programs so it has survived. I love to play games on it I connect to the internet using my wireless connection everytime and it works like a charm. We have a wireless printer and I had no problem setting it up and getting it to work.

As an artist who keeps her work on this computer and a mother takes LOTS of photos of her children, I am impressed at how much I have saved on the hard drive and yet the computer has not been slowed down at all since it was brand new. It is about 8 months old now, the same age as my second child.

I love this laptop!!! I've been using this HP Laptop for more than 6 months and I'm very happy with it.... Wonderful performance..... great memory, really fast, it worth the money...

This has been the best computer I have bought yet. My previous notebook was a Toshiba and I have purchased multiple desktops for my family and myself. This is primarily an entertainment pc but works well for the normal office uses as well. Probably the most outstanding use is the integrated webcam and mic. Very good quality!!...

This laptop does it all. I was going to buy a portable dvd player in addition to a new laptop, but when I saw the widescreen on it, there was no need for me to waste money on an addtional dvd palyer with smaller screen. The quality of dvd playback is exceptional, and it almost sounds like you have surround sound. The wireless capabilty makes internet surfing a breeze. Not to mention , it supports just about any type of media you have....
