it was the best product i have ever used. I was trying to get a laptop since ages, because I was always been unsatisfied for laptop. I have used thousands of product in this regard but never been happy. you can say that I am very particular about my products and stufff that I used. After having this product, I was very very satisfied. let me tell you that I am not very easy to get satisfied. you can say i m hard nut to crack when it comes to products that i need to use. the color and the looks of this products are so particular and very well organized that you just start loving this product. the features of the product is very very accurate. the operating system of this product is very well. the speed and quality look so attractive. i just would like to tell every one who is looking for laptop that just close your eyes and buy this product and believe me you will love it!. the prize is also very reasonable and each penny you spend you will never regred your decision....trust me!

The Hewlett Packard Pavilion DV9000Z 17" Screen Laptop is the last HP product I will ever buy. I have, currently and in the past, owned many HP desktops and laptops. Every single item has had poor quality and problems. The latest laptop had a problem while it was still under warranty, so after many hours dealing with customer support overseas, the problem was finally resolved. The latest problem with the power cord occurred right after the warranty expired. I went back to the store where I purchased the laptop and when the salesperson looked up the computer on the internet he commented that this laptop has had a lot of problems and recalls. Since there was a recall with the power cord, he suggested that I contact HP support. I attempted but HP support is horrible! First of all, you'll need to struggle to comprehend them through their accents. One support person actually told me the recall had expired...I have never heard of a recall expiring, especially on a product...

I have my HP dv9420us for over two years now and I have been very happy with it so far. I bought this laptop in 2007 prior to my deployment to Iraq so that I would have the ability to stay in contact with friends and family and so I could watch videos and listen to music and do other basic computer type things. At the time Vista was still very new and I had the drive wiped and XP put on it simply because I knew how to use XP and how to fix most of the problems that I would have. It worked flawlessly for the entire 6 months that I was in Iraq. When I got home I easily hooked it up to a wireless network that I have in my apartment and continued to use it there.

One of the things that I love about this laptop is that the screen is big and it is easy to work on because it's easy to see the things that are on the desktop. Another feature that I appreciate with this laptop is the number pad on the right hand side, which makes it easier to enter numbers. The built in web cam is great...

it is one of the more dependable laptops out there has a fair battery life and quick up dating done monthly by HP

My Dad has his lap top and he loves it he said that if any one ever offered to buy him somthing different he would turn them down, and i have to say i uesed it the other day a i was amazed i really didnt want to got back to my desktop computer at all every thing was so easy to ues and find. It even has a How to place so some one who has never uesed one before can learn. It really is one of the Best Laptops out there. If you Buy one I really think you will Love it.

I bought the HP Pavillion becuase it was on sale. I use it for Word, Excell, browsing the internet, watching movies on the internet, and managing lots of digital photos. It works well for these things. I fly at least twice a year and I find that the size of this laptop makes it awkward to get efficeintly through security check points. But for the price, and if you don't need to fly with it often, it is a great computer.

I bought this computer twice. The first time the motherboard fried about eleven months after I got it. I bought it again because I found it easy to use and a good fit for my needs and preferences. The second time, I bought an extended warrentee from the retailer but I haven't had any problems.

My husband and I got 2 HP 9000 series and the first one all of a sudden would turn on, but was black screen.

Went to Best Buy and they wanted too much for a mother board and went to a tech shop and he stated nearly all of the 9000 series was having problems.

That they over heat and also

So we took the hard drive out of the old and put in the other 9000 and now it will at times shut down for no apparent reason. Although it will reboot, I wonder how long it will last.

Bought this computer for my teenager. It is more enjoyable to use than the Dell Inspiron 1520 that I recently bought for myself. I've decided that my next desktop (mine got fried last month) will be an HP....

Hewlett Packard Pavilion DV9000Z 17" Screen Laptop is a great bargin for the features offered. I comes preloaded with Windows Vista Home which has locked up several times but that is not the fault of HP. I have been a user of Dell computers for years and this is the first HP I have owned. So far I am happy. I use the laptop instead of a desktop and with the 17" screen, visibility is no problem....

HP laptops, no matter what kind are very effiecient and safe to use. It comes with a hp total care advisor aka included hp specific security system. This laptop has so much space and it also has the fastest wirelass ram internet ive ever used. HP is invloved in protecting data files and the system and I would definetly reccoment it over dell....

I have had my HP Pavillion since Christmas 2007. I have been very happy with it. Always had Gateway desktops before and was happy with those also and wasn't sure I wanted to take the chance on HP but was very pleasantly surprise. Would definitly buy HP again. My only complaint with this new computer involves Vista issues and has little to do with the laptops performance....

I bought my DV9000 about a year ago. The left hinge cracked right after the warranty expired. Tried contacting HP regarding the problem but have not received any appropriate responds from HP. There has been users of Pavilion dv6000 and dv9000 experiencing the hinge cracking problem....

This laptop was great even out of the box witht he basic features it came with. i suuped it up with more memory and two hard drives and i could not live without it. from making videos of the kids to playing games to e mail or web building not to mention mp3 collection this is the laptop that has it all BUY IT...
