I've owned and used about twenty different printers in my life and this one is definitely not my favorite. I have difficulty printing on specialty papers (like birthday party invitations) and the color quality isn't the best. For the price though, I guess it's not that bad....

After using what seemed like disposable Epson printers for years, I finally tried an HP photo printer. I had another HP inkjet printer that I used for everyday printing (no color, scanning or fancy features) and it just kept working and working no matter what. I had thrown out at least 3 Epson's, after even paying to fix two of them. This HP prints fantastic photos, has a lot of great printing features (promting for double sided printed), prints fast and doesn't take up a ton of space for all of it's features. I still have trouble scanning as the software isn't the greatest or most user friendly. I printer cartridges are also fairly reasonably priced ($14.99 for B/W, a bit more for color). ...

dallvansyckle says "Great Product at a Great Price!" about Hewlett Packard PSC3180 InkJet Printer

I am almost always impressed with Hp printer products, and I have tried many. This printer is nice because it is of course an all in one so it allows you to do almost anything from printing pictures to articles and simple e-mails. The ink cartridges are a little on the small side so make sure to have some available for back up, but they are simple to install and the alignment process is simple as well! I would say give it a try if looking for something cost effective....

cathyap says "good quality low price" about Hewlett Packard PSC3180 InkJet Printer

The unit networked well with our wireless network. It makes great copies and scans well. My only complaint is that it will not accept recycled ink cartridges. Well worth the $75 we spent for it.

I would prefer a unit that we could manually override settings. This one doesn't allow that....

LibbyMcMillan says "Inexpensive, and no problems!" about Hewlett Packard PSC3180 InkJet Printer

Searching for a dependable All-in-One?
I chose this particular model because it was affordable and I needed two of them - one for my office and one for my home office. Less software and drivers makes my laptop happy. I haven't had any problems since installing both my C3180s.

You can trust HP.
I have always relied on HP products and have never been let down. That's saying a lot, as I'm a heavy computer/printer user. I am presently using this all-in-one with my Sony Vaio (see review).

The Bottom Line: Libby Likes It!

...
