I am very picky about the kinds of shampoo and other hair products that I use. I have used a variety of brands in the past, ranging from lower priced store brands all the way up to very expensive salon brands. I have very oil skin, which results in my having very oily scalp as well. To give you some idea, my hair is so oily that by the time I go home in the afternoons, I need to wash it again. I have tried the Frederick Fekkai shampoo that has apple cider vinegar in it, and it notes that it is for those afflicted with oily hair. It smells great and does a good job, but who can afford to pay almost $20 for a bottle of shampoo? After not being able to afford to continue with Fekkai, I went to my local mass retailer and found Herbal Essences. I hate their commercials, but had a coupon and decided to give their Drama Clean shampoo a try. I went ahead and purchased the large sized bottle, hoping for the best.

Herbal Essences Drama Clean promises refreshingly clean hair with light conditioning. This is completely true. I use lots of products in my hair and often swim in highly clorinated pools and I NEVER worry about my hair after I use Herbal Essences Drama Clean. My hair feels hydrated and squeaky clean and tangles are gone before they form. I don't even need to use any conditioner because this contains a light conditioning agent that takes care of two steps in one!

I just think Herbal Essences Drama Clean is the best shampoo ever. I used Herbal Essences as a teenager and I am now 50. I used alot of shampoos in between but here I am using it again!!! It has a great lathering factor which I need to make me feel as if it is cleaning well. It also smells great! I get comments all the time about how good my hair smells, especially from my boyfriend and that makes me feel good.

I love the Herbal Essences Drama clean shampoo & conditioner! It's the best I've found in a long time. After washing my hair it feels clean, it looks shiny, it feels smooth, and it smells GREAT. Although it's more expensive than some other brands on the store shelves, it is still cheaper than the expensive salon brands, and it is definitely worth the difference in price! I also frequently find coupons in the Sunday newspaper for discounts on this product. I love the crisp, trendy packaging as well. It definitely attracts me to consider the product when shopping. The matching Drama Clean conditioner is wonderful as well and I don't feel that it weights my hair down like I have experienced with other conditioners on the market. I rarely use the shampoo without using the accompanying conditioner. I am definitely a fan of this Herbal Essence product & will be a user for a long time to come.

herbal essences drama clean shampoo smells good, but lacks the ability to clean your hair. it leaves your hair with a good smell, but doesn't feel as your hair is clean. For as much as it costs. I will find another brand that actually makes my hair feel clean all over. I expected this product to be great due to lots of my family and friends use and prefer it. not the case, it leaves your hair feeling like it needs shampooed. I have tried other herbal essence products and they were wonderful, but this one seems to lack the want to clean. maybe the shampoo was old, i just bought it. maybe they need shelf dates so customers know it my be good or not. Im not sure what the answer is but i would not recommend this type of herbal essence shampoo to anyone. Unfortunately they have messed up in my eyes. They need to come out with a new product that is better than this one and not have their loyal customers waisting their money.

Herbal Essences has long been my favorite brand of hair care products. A few years ago, they discontinued my favorite green shampoo...the one with scents and infusions of kiwi, kumquat, and fig. In my quest to discover a replacement, I came across another shampoo made by Herbal Essences - Drama Clean.

Sadly, I did not like the scent of Drama Clean's orange flower and berry tea as much as I liked "kiwi, kumquat, and fig." However, Drama Clean was equally effective in cleansing my hair. For some annoying reason, I was "blessed" with hair that is naturally oily, perfectly straight, and perpetually full. Herbal Essences hair care products have been an awesome help in taming my mane.

I almost wish my hair didn't require such a specific kind of shampoo because then I don't get a chance to read the fun facts on the different shampoo and conditioner bottles. :-) Thanks to Drama Clean, I now am fully aware of who I talk to most and what was a dirty word years ago in England.

Herbal Essences deep cleaning shampoo. This shampoo is great it cleans away all the things other shampoos don't and the build up those other brands leave. After a long day you can still smell the great fragrance and even the next day your hair is still clean and shiny. I would also recommend the conditioner to go along with it. The conditioner has the same great smell and leaves your hair soft and shiny. I will be trying all the other great products from Herbal Essences line....

I got this shampoo because I wanted something that was going to clean my hair without gunking it up at all...I have enough hair products that do that! My hair is somewhat oily and I wash it every day and I haven't noticed that this products strips my hair or makes it dry or anything like that. Since my hair is thick and long and I straighten it, I use this in conjunction with a moisturizing conditioner (Pantene smooth and sleek) which I apply only from the nape of my neck down. Overall, this is a good basic shampoo that smells delicious, which is what I expect from Herbal Essences products....

I have to be picky about my shampoos, because if I am not it will look like an oil tanker tipped over on my head. So yeah I suffer from the greasies. So I don't damage my hair by washing it two times a day, I try to find a really good clarifying shampoo to use in the morning, and then dab my scalp with lemon juice or witch hazel or apple cider vinegar before bead. I might be overdoing it a bit, but I hate being greasy, and it makes my face break out too because I like to run my hands through my hair, i know it only adds to the oilyness. BUT ANY WAY, this shampoo is great. It leaves my hair squeeky clean, and If i leave it on for a few minutes and massage my scalp my oil spill is held at bay for even longer... So anyone else that suffers from the oily skin woes give this a try.... and cheer up, at least we aren't wrinkly :-)...

As Herbal Essence has always done-- it smells great, and does a decent job. I will say, however, that my biggest complaint with all Herbal Essence products (and the same is for this) is that the conditioner is too heavy. I stopped using them for a while because of this; my hair would get greasy fast, because it wouldn't rinse out easy. But, while the issue is still there, it has much improved with this line....

As a college student with minimum hair maintenance, I love this product. It smells great, rinses clean, and the scent stays with you throughout the day without being overpowering. It is nothing fancy and doesn't have conditioning ingredients (which are a plus to me) but my hair is always very brushable and clean after use. I really think the main draws are the great scent--not everyone's favorite obviously but fresh and fruity which I like--and the value. With so many expensive products on the market that really don't do too much, this product does just what shampoo is supposed to do, it cleans you hair. I really don't think you can go wrong with this product if you like the smell....
