I have always believed that making my hair look good when down is an impossible task. My hair is fine, thin, flat, and boring. Hair spray does me no good, it slips right off of the strands, regular mousse and gel makes it look greasy and flat, and I can throw my head back and forth as much as I want, it makes absolutely no difference.

I have my mom to thank for my lifeless hair, so she has been searching for a solution to this hair issue for quite some time. I went home for a short break from college and left my hair products at school expecting to use the products at my house that my mom and sisters use. While I was looking through my mom's hair products, trying to decide whether to even attempt to make my hair look good or to just surrender immediately, save myself the frustration, and pull it up into a pony tail, I saw a product I was unfamiliar with - Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Mousse. I towel dried my hair and applied a palm full of the mousse throughout my...
...

This product works fairly well. I find it works best with a curling iron (I'm not using it so much for volume as for it to hold in place) instead of a hairdryer. It tends to leave white dandruff-looking spots though, if you muss you hair too much, where it is. Other than that, it's a good product....

PattyTherre says "I don't envy the body this mousse provides. Not enough volume. " about Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Mousse

Quick View: A fabulous smelling mouse that's good but not great. I think I like it more for the scent than the actual performance. It's cheap though and works as well as some expensive mousses.
About Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Mousse

I got five, count em, five Herbal Essences products for $15.00 so I just stocked up on stuff I didn't really need. It was a sale! This product comes in a 6.8 ounce can that looks way too much like the hairspray of the same name (see review). The scent is crazy good. Herbal Essences does do scent well. This smells like oranges and flowers or something but the citrus is what caught me. I love citrus scents. The mouse has the typical trigger spray top and is white and fluffy. Herbal Essence claims that this mousse will give your hair 50% more volume. Oh, come on! In little print, it says 50% more volume when using the Body Envy Shampoo, conditioner, and mousse over just shampoo. Even with the disclaimer, it's bull.

Anyway, the mouse is really fragrant...
...
