lorihall2861 says "Brings back memories without as many calories" about Heineken Light

Heineken was the first beer and first imported beer I drank. Loved it then and love it now, but came across Heineken Light and now I can have the same beer with a lighter taste and fewer calories.

Even though I love Heineken, it seems to have a real strong after taste that when the beer got a little warm it almost made you shake your head. Heineken Light does not have that strong after taste. I really enjoy having a beer when I drink this and I am not a real avid beer drinker.

Best served really cold! I actually like to pop them in the freezer for a bit to get them good and chilled. (Careful, don't forget them, they do bust) No, pouring this beer into a glass, this tastes best right out of the bottle.

Want to enjoy a great imported beer with less calories, try Heineken Light

A little pricey compared to others, but if you want quality beer, it is worth the price.

I love it and as I said I am not really a beer drinker!
...

Heineken Light (and Heineken) charges the premium price but you end up with a sour, skunked tasting beer. It is a light beer, but it tastes like the keystones left over from 2007... I would crack open a busch light over this. I'm not even sure people who drink hiennies actually like them or they are just giving into the marketing campaigns (which are good).
...

skubydoobie says "Great Beer, tastey. Go For It." about Heineken Light

This is a really great beer. I love this brand as it is, and was somewhat apprehensive about going for the light beer variety. Worried that I would be missing the full flavor that is uniquely Heineken all together. However, it doesn't break the bank so I figured I would go for it. I was actually glad that I ended up trying it. The flavor is still light and crisp and very much Heineken. I am still getting my full flavor with a lighter calorie content. I was genuinely impressed with this product and do buy it often. If you truly enjoy Heineken, then you will also find Heineken Light just as enjoyable. Go ahead and give it a try, it doesn't break the bank, it doesn't pack in the calories and it is forever light, crisp and refreshing. One draw back to this beer is that it is hard to find at restaurants. It is not carried as highly as it was when it first came out. I guess that means it is not selling that well in the establishments, but I have never had an issue with finding it at a grovcery...
...

I like my beer. Gonna admit it! I have always been a fan of Heineken. It's kind of heavy however... This is a nice option for a lighter flavor!...

I have been a beer drinker for most of my adult life and I have to say that I am real pleased with the taste and quality of Heineken Light. I normally prefer a non-light beer usually due to the lack of good taste found in light beers. This is not the case with Heineken Light. I even attribute the loss of some weight due to my drinking this beer and not my usual non-light beer. The only "con" I can state is I haven't been able to find Heineken Light in draft form at bars.

Also, I don't drink Heineken (the non-light version) when I want a non-light beer, so I was pleasantly surprised with Heineken Light. It is not bitter and it doesn't fill you up. I haven't changed my routine (exercise, eating habits, etc.) except for drinking Heineken Light instead of my usual beer, Corona Extra, and during the last six months, I lost about ten pounds. I usually drink about one to two days a week and will drink about three to four bottles a sitting. Of course, I have been known to drink...
...

This truly is my favoirtie beer. Lite or not this hold up with a good, full taste without being bitter or too strong. My husband is from Germany and he likes this beer as well. Drinking it is without sacrifice. It is such a great flavor at reduced calories. It goes well with most food....

My favorite beer. Light, crisp, refreshing. The only downside is it is so light you keep going and the next thing you know you're wasted...wait I guess that's not really a downside :) It doesn't have the skunky taste that regular Heineken has and that's what I love about it....

I think that this is my favorite light beer i have ever tried. I am more of a dark beer lover, but if i want quantity, than i go with light beer. I like miller lite and carona light as well. Carona is hit or miss with me because i have bought many of them that were skunky and horrible, i've heard because of the bottle. I like miller lite, but heineken is far superior taste wise. However, it would cost me $32 for 24 heineken lights and it would cost me about $20 for miller lite. Would i say that the 160% price difference is worth it, yes and no. I would buy 6 heinekens and then 18 millers if i were going to choose the best cost/pleasure ratio....

Heineken Light 6 Pack Bottles are not the best drinking beer since it is light beer but it does wonders for chicken! Take your Heineken Light beer and pour it into a can. Shove the can into a whole chicken. Stand the chicken up right in a baking dish with the can holding the bird up. Bake until the chicken is done. The beer bastes the chicken as it cooks from the inside out. Yums! Moist and delicious.

Heineken Light is not as tasty as the regular beer. It tastes like a watered down version. Heineken is the best beer though. (Not every bottle in the same 6 pack tastes skunky. If you get a skunky tasting one, cook with it and open another one for drinking.)
...
